I absolutely love this restaurant. You get a nice portion of food for your money and the menu is very large. The prime dish is their teriyaki and rice bowl but I know a lot of people love their egg rolls. I highly recommend this place and only wish they were a national chain.

This place is good for quick bite, of course it’s not a sitdown restaurant type of quality. But for what it is, it is very good! I usually get their regular chicken bowl, and some shrimp tempuras on the side.

I ordered combination chicken and pork with rice and veggies. Pork was overcooked,dry and hard. Went to cashier told her pork was overcooked she asked if i wanted more I said no exchange it for chicken. She then told the cook change it for chicken he doesnt want it, when she returned I told her it was over cooked and hard she laughed and said i dunno pork has to be cooked. Cook said we have to cook so it isnt raw. Long story short obviously pork is not made fresh. And dont order pork as it is not good. Stick to simple chicken and steamed rice you cant mess that up. $12.83 later i shoveled it down as i dont believe in wasting food. Not as good as it seems when hungry. If you wanna go to a “ghetto” spot this is your place comes with full attitude karen!

Food quality has gone down in recent years. Chicken was dry and had to be saved by adding extra sauce. You can tell the food wasn’t fresh and this was on a Saturday. The price has gone up too, but so has everything in California. It’s about 11, and some change for a bowl as of 2025. You’re better off spending a few more dollars at Ono Hawaiian while getting a better meal.

I was looking for a good bowl of white rice and teriyaki chicken so I decided to give this place a try since it was close by. I never knew it was there because it’s not visible from any street especially in this busy corner. It is located directly behind the Kelly car wash building and to get into the restaurants’ parking lot was a hassle on its own because there are many cars waiting on the road to get a spot to vacuum their cars. Because of this, I had to wait til there was enough space to get into the opposite lane to get to the restaurants drive thru therefore the best advice is don’t go when it’s too busy at the car wash and if it is just practice good judgment. Anywho, the menu is straightforward and the service provided by the young attendant was great, I think his name was David. When it came to the food that I ordered was a teriyaki bowl and I was a bit let down to be frank. The rice was good but the chicken was not what I expected. It was a bit too hard and the teriyaki sauce was missing flavor even after adding my requested extra sauce side. The bowl came with cabbage, broccoli rice and chicken that again was a bit too dry. I can see myself going here if I want something fast and cheap or was worried about salt intake. I did notice the whole dish was lacking salt or flavor so for someone with those preferences wouldn’t have an issue here.

Excellent Teriyaki Bowls, and Dine in option is available. Clean and comfortable environment the whole family can enjoy. And, they don’t limit my adding gobbs more Teriyaki sauce.
