Had lunch here Thursday. It wasn’t crowded so we found a table by the window. Ordered lemonade and fried green tomato BLT, as I wanted to try fried green tomatoes. I wished that tomato slice was a bit thicker, as I tasted mainly the batter. The bacon was thick and crispy, which I enjoyed very much. The employee who took our order was friendly and checked in on us often. I would love to go back there in the evening to catch their actions. The street parking was easy, as it was on a weekday.

Cool, historic spot. Food was affordable and tasty. The bartender that served us was extremely snark, smart-mouthed, and very unfriendly. She forgot to add the grilled onions for my burger and when I mentioned it to her abd she asked the cook to make them, then she forgot to bring them to me. When I decided I didn’t want my burger to get cold while waiting on something that was never coming, I started eating my burger. Once I was half done with it she finally asked whether I got them, I told her that I did not and it was too late at that point to worry about it. She sarcastically sorry, I mean I’m only one person and I’m obviously busy. It was a rude and unnecessary comment. I work in the f&b industry for years, we are all human and we forget things but we should never forget our manners and customer service. The guest next to me, who was a local resident and a regular. Apologize to me in her behalf abd told me that she is alway has a nasty attitude. If I return, I will definitely not sit with her!

The shrimp burger was delicious, the waitress was kind and courteous, and the place felt lively and welcoming. I can tell people enjoy their time here, and the regulars are also a joy. I wish them a safe and fun holidays as 2026 rolls into town!

Actually, I was going to go to another restaurant next door, but it was too crowded. Oh, I didn’t want to wait, so we had to sit here.
The tables outside were empty, so we sat at one. The waiter didn’t pay attention to us for a long time (more than 15 minutes). I even went inside and got the menu myself.
The outside atmosphere wasn’t very good. I can say that the inside is more lively and cute. But if you want to find good service and good food, this place shouldn’t be your first choice. I had the chance to try hamburgers, shrimp, sandwiches… etc., but I only ate my fill. I can’t say that I really enjoyed what I ate.
The only thing I liked was that they gave food to a street cat. We can say that it’s an animal-friendly restaurant. There were water bowls for dogs outside.

Stopped in today for lunch and it was amazing. Our waitress Maddy was so sweet as always!! We have came in a few times and been served by her she is a joy. Meals were delicious and best views of the waterfront. Love the cat and their staff’s big heart for the animals. Will be back!!

Maddie, our server, was fabulous. Drinks always full and she was attentive without being over-bearing. Fried pickles were great. Main courses were good too. Love their sweet coleslaw.

Cool pub right by the waterfront. The patio has an awesome view of the water. We stopped in for chicken wings, burger & basketball!
Mild & garlic peppercorn dry rub wings are good.

We finally found a place that made our Beaufort trip worth it! Fun, great food, and atmosphere!! We got the white pizza, so very good!! Love the live music!!! Chris Jones was excellent!!!

I can see myself having a drink there, and maybe a late night burger.
I read in the reviews “the best burger in town” and after my experience i was like…how about not.
The burger was okay, but i had to wait way too long for the burger. Also 2 tables that came after us, had their food before us, one of them also ordered before us but we were there like 10 minutes before them.
After we got our food we lost the waitress, and okay i get it, if you are alone and busy i understand. But that means the organization of the store is not perfect.
The burger club looked good, my cousin got it and said it was really good!
I thibk if you are local you will like this store because they have a weekly schedule to keep you busy. But as a tourist…it was an average experience.

What a pity, we have come back thinking of giving them a second chance, after a long time, since they failed us with the service previously. Well, more than failing, they did not pay us any attention and after 20 minutes of waiting and seeing the waitress go by Saying absolutely nothing, we left. On this occasion, we thought that if we sat at the bar, perhaps it would be an easier service for them and perhaps faster for us. Well, none of that. We simply ordered some baskets, one of fish and the other of chicken. The waitress was attentive and there was no shortage of beers for us, but time passed, and the people who arrived after us already received their dishes. To call the attention of the waitress, we told her that we were going to go out to take some photos, that’s when she told us that our order was “almost” ready, that had already passed more than 45 minutes. Upon re-entering, my husband told her that if it was not ready, we would cancel the order, she apologized and that’s when she went into the kitchen to claim our plates. Another 20 minutes passed before they came out. We just didn’t leave because we had hungry. The food was good. This has not been just a bad day, it is the disorder that reigns here and the poor organization that they have in the kitchen. We understand a waiting time, right now there is not much staff working and we respect it , but this place is unacceptable. It is a pity since it is in a privileged place.
