Run don’t walk- to this little gem of a store.
I went here for the first time this past Wednesday and the owner is so so so nice.
I was dying for Polish potato pancakes, and this store had them- homemade ❤️. They had so many other choices of delicious food also- all homemade.
I took home five potato pancakes, and they are absolutely delicious. They taste just like my mother‘s pancakes- that she used to make. I also took home- homemade rye bread. This bread is so delicious – you could taste a rye in this bread – Yum Yum.
I will definitely be going back to this location to try her other foods. I was so happy to find a Polish deli that had everything that I wanted – and so much more❤️

I stopped into Luisa’s Polish Deli for the first time today. I have been searching for fresh (unsmoked) kielbasa that would remind me of the Polish food of my childhood in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. I had a limited amount of time to spend there so I went straight to the friendly woman offering her help. She showed me the actually available fresh kielbasa. I chose my amount. She complimented it with her cooked sauerkraut. It looked sho good, I purchased double the amount. Then as I was wrestling with my purse I spotted homemade chruściki and grabbed a box. Tonight I had a delicious dinner reminiscent of my Polish upbringing. I will be heading back to Luisa’s Polish Deli to try more of her delightful dishes- stuffed cabbage comes to mind, potato pancakes and, of course, a little pierogi! A wonderful find on Rte 166 in Toms River.

I went there to buy some food for my family and boy was this a terrible experience. I’ve never been this rudely disappointed by a store. I asked for the lady for the expiration date on the cheese, she looks down on me and says “what? You checked for expiration date in your country?” She said it with the most condescending tone I’ve ever had the displeasure of hearing in a store. Rude, racist and disappointing. Never come here.

I would give 10 stars if possible. Grew up with Great great Greandmothers cooking pierogi like this. It’s been too long since I’ve done their recipes, Luscia’s brought me back to home cooked perfection! Kielbasa is delicious and the soups are Bliss!! The “pickle soup” is levels above any I’ve ever had.

Stopped by today to see if she had Borscht soup, not only did she have three options, she had a whole list of other tasty soups, I tried multiple. I’m now sitting eating these in heaven. So, so good. If you’re missing any nostalgic polish recipes you don’t see much like pickle soup (Trust me) absolutely soul warming! Can’t wait to try more !

Best polish place in The area!!! The food is amazing. Polish pancakes, polish sauerkraut , polish celery salad all amazing all made fresh there!!! Other places I had to pay way more and it was half as good as this place. The plaza isn’t a busy plaza they should consider on moving to a busier plaza because the food that is made there is best Polish food I had!

My husband and I are both half polish and the food is so good. It’s like polish homemade food that we grew up on. Most of the dishes take like a day to make homemade. I do not have the time to do that. We travel 40 minutes to pick up as much food as we can eat. My mom visited in the fall. She is full polish and she couldn’t believe how good it is. It’s taste like grandma’s cooking. It worth the price! I’m not going spend 8 hours in the kitchen so I’ll pay the extra money to buy.

I have been going there for years for the stuffed cabbage. It is almost as good as my grandmother used to make. The kielbasa is also fantastic. They have many other Polish specialties but I do not eat those.

I go into the store and its empty. I order a half of kielbasa and she charges me $11.62. I also get a large container of sauerkraut for $5.00. She cancels the sale and rings up $21.62. I am Irish Italian. You Polish better get up earlier in the morning if you want to get over on me.
