Burgers were burnt, ordered two identical burgers baskets, they gave one of us a bunch of fries, and the other 10 fries, it made no sense. They cannot keep up with more than 20 people in the building, had a local tell me that this place has gone downhill after the original owners sold it off. The building and atmosphere is nice and comfortable, has a great view, but I will never come back. I paid $41 for 2 burnt burgers and 2 sodas. major ripoff. It also took 45 minutes to receive this very simple order.

We visited the Lure Bar and Grill on March 19th at 4:30 pm for and early dinner. It was our first time here. Nice atmosphere and roomy with great views of Lake Petenwell. We were met by the manager, Dan, who was friendly, good conversationalist, and all around super nice guy. I ordered a Bloody Mary and being a self professed guru of Bloody Mary’s, I deem this an A+. We ordered the Chips and cheese for an appetizer, a bowl of chili, a Rueben sandwich, and the Cuban sandwich. The homemade chips were hot and huge. Very good compliment to the meal. My chili was some of the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. My wife’s Rueben was massive with a same amount of fries. She gave it a thumbs up. My Cuban sandwich with fries did not disappoint in flavor, size or tenderness. And to add, with these meals, you will not go away hungry. Hats off to Dan and his staff. We will definitely return and pass our likings on to our friends and neighbors.

Ordered a whiskey BBQ burger and fries. Expected it to be a pretty decent burger for the $16 they charged for it. It came out and was a small burger and chips thrown together pretty messily. Was pretty comparable to a $8 burger at any small town cafe or dive bar. Definitely disappointed in the price for the food for what it was for a place with such great atmosphere.

Maybe 5-6 tables. Our food order took over an HOUR!! One in our group ordered a giant pretzel……and still took 45 minutes!
Another ordered Rare burger Holy Crap
It was SO overdone he couldn’t eat it. Waitress apologized again and took it off his bill.
My burger tasted like they left it on the grill for the whole Hour we were waiting!! Out of 8 of us 6 couldn’t even finish their burgers.
Italian Beef is a roast beef sandwich on a bun with raw green peppers on it.
Kwik Trip down the road has WAY
better burgers and Food Than Here!!!

very nice service which definitely creates an appetite for the customer from experience approach to tasting was a nice surprise regional fish which I had the opportunity to eat delicious salad freshly served with Italian sauce and fries I recommend with honor to everyone but vegetables cooking something went wrong

When we arrived the place was swamped. I had doubts about how quickly we would be seated and served, but those doubts were quickly dispelled. Service was good, the food was very good and nearly every table has a lake view. When we were done eating and paying, the manager made it a point to make sure we had a good experience and a good lunch. He was friendly and engaging and invited us to return, and we surely will.

First time here food was awesome wiatstaff was very friendly and attentive. Love the location on lake Petenwell very nice views and very relaxing. I had the smoked Cuban with fries my wife had Crabby Toms smoked stacker with homemade chips.

It’s not the restaurant’s fault I’m a vegetarian but a veggie or black bean burger option would be great. I opted for non-vegetarian fish. Homemade chips were good too.
