Nice nice place. Right by the train tracks. Very good vibe and decor. Has a good variety on the menu to suit many different tastes. 4 HUGE tv screens to watch sports or whatever on. HUMONGOUS BURGER! Its $30 but probably feed 4 people! Top the good food off with great service. I’ll be coming back again and again.

Took a chance and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was plentiful and delicious! Salsa was homemade and perfect! Enchiladas were hot and awesome! We left full and happy and the price was amazingly affordable! Take your whole family!

Hidden gem just off busy I20. We stopped on our way back to DFW for a quick dinner and were not disappointed. Walk in the front streetside door, or side door off the parking lot. Seating is open. The service was friendly. Delicious salsa and chips made it quickly to our table. Orders came out fast and hot.

Hubby had the sour cream enchiladas. The sauce had a delicious garlic flavor – far from bland. I had the chicken fajitas – seasoned perfectly with grilled onions and tomatoes. Rice was perfect and beans had just the right ratio of mashed and whole beans. Super tasty meal all around.

Nice selection of Mexican candy at checkout to finish out a wonderful experience.

First time in Sweetwater, and a friend recommended to try this location. Located across the street from railroad tracks, this quaint hole in the wall had excellent service, great food, at a great price. I tried the menudo (32oz) and had toasted bread with it. They offer corn and flour tortillas as well. No pan bolillo as they do not serve tortas. The menudo was tender, spicy, and fresh. First time eating it with toast, and it did not disappoint. My sister had their chicken flautas, which she said tasted delicious as well. For dessert, we tried their cheesecake sopapilla with whipped cream and strawberries. Let me tell you, this is a dessert to savor every bite. It is quite a large serving, so two can certainly eat one serving. Will certainly visit here again on a trip out to West Texas next time traveling through Sweetwater.

Love the service and food, they were really nice the whole time. The food came out pretty fast too. They always can at the right time to ask if we needed anything. All together great place definitely going to come here again.

This makes probably closer to 20 times I’ve been here. Spoken to the Owner numerous times. Service is severely lacking. Unless you order Alcohol with the meal. If Alcohol is in your order, you’ll get 4-5 ⭐️ Service. Otherwise, you’ll get 9 of 10 visits, crappy service. Beverage refills are like waving a flag to get their attention.

Owner shrugs off the mentions, the dislikes, the complaints. If it wasn’t for their 4-5⭐️ food, I’d quit coming years and years ago. Alcohol was approved about 2, maybe 3 years ago. IMHO, that was the bust of quality service for non-alcohol service. The specials that use to be all day are now only for the Lunch time. Sadly, Lupita has taken philosophy of either order Dinner or simply “I don’t care.”

The food that is great: Chicken Strips, Chicken Fried Steak, Jacques, Brandon’s and Friday Fish.

I say I’m not returning only to get hankering for very good food or just the special on a Friday Night every month or so.

Coming from out of town and not sure of what kind of restaurant we were going to eat at. Read the reviews and showed up and were more than surprised! The service was very good the food was very good the prices I would consider very reasonable. We had the David’s Burger. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And the homemade onion rings were fantastic

This restaurant is run by a 7 yrs in the business manager. She is trying to build up her business and I can tell you it’s very warm in atmosphere. And the food is delicious We had the bean and cheese nachos and my friend has menudo. Excellent. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Buyer beware. Do not get the biscuits and gravy, unless you want gravy made from a pre-made powder mix and pop canned biscuits. Probably one of the most disappointing breakfasts I’ve ever had. I seriously hope their dinner service is better than the breakfast. Waste of money.

Really good food here. The service was great! I always seem to get the Brandon’s Special, but other items are just as tasty. Sometimes, the food can be too salty though (even the salsa).
