We went in & were asked to choose our table. There was a group of about 5 people at the bar & that was all. Our server brought our menus & took our drink order. When she returned with our drinks we asked for another minute to look over the menu because our original choice was unavailable. She left attended to 2 other customers that walked in then joined the group at the bar. We decided what we wanted & set the menus aside to signal that we were ready to order. She continued to socialize & even eat with the group at the bar. Our table was literally right across from where they were seated.After about 10 minutes we decided to leave. We checked the price of our drinks ($5 each). I walked up to the bar gave them $12 & asked if that covered our drinks. The bartender/owner(?) got the servers attention who gladly took the money & barely apologized. I can’t speak for the food but the service was SO bad definitely won’t go back. Ended up going to Salsa Fresh great Food & service even though they were busier than Lupitas.

The meats (chicken & beef) were full of flavor. Consume was also full of flavor. I’m just not impressed with the thickness of the taco shells. They taste more like masa for tamales.

Listen.. I’m a mexican from LA where I’m spoiled with authentic and creative places around every corner, since I’ve moved up here it’s been hard finding places that go above and beyond expectations but this place was spectacular in taste and over all service. I had their specialty tacos, they were a complex and yet deliciously simple treat on their own. Would definitely recommend trying those out!

Best rice and beans I’ve ever had. The carnitas burrito I had was great. Have ordered tacos on multiple occasions and have been very happy (particularly the Al pastor). The staff here are awesome, high energy and very positive. I walked in here for the first time and felt like a regular! Highly recommened
