Lupi’s Pizza Pies/Downtown – Chattanooga, Tennessee

Lupi’s is a sum of its winning parts! The dough (white and whole-wheat) and sauce homemade daily provide the beginnings for Chattanooga’s Best Pizza.

Lupi’s is hands down one of the best spots in Chattanooga for pizza. The crust is always perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside—and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their toppings are generous without being overwhelming, and the flavor combinations are spot on. The atmosphere is warm, local, and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a bite with friends or family. On top of that, the staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re in Chattanooga and craving pizza, Lupi’s is a must-visit.

5 stars. We’ve been going to this pizza place for over 20 years. Pizza is fresh and delicious. As a bonus, they have a few fun arcade games to play in the back with a change machine in case you didn’t bring quarters. 🙂

Entertaining and eclectic pizza joint that I enjoyed overall. Our group of 10 was seated immediately when we arrived at 530pm on a Saturday. Our pizza and calzone were very good but figuring out pizza costs were confusing and seemed expensive compared to other places. We selected this place because we heard it was good and thought the kids could watch the pizzas being made on the “open” kitchen. The viewing experience didn’t work out as the kitchen had a high counter shielding it and signs warning not to come near.

Really cool spot for families to enjoy pizza and calzones! The crust was perfect slightly chewy and loaded, sauce wasn’t overpowering. The prices here are reasonable too!

We are there every Friday night ordering the same meal. It’s tried & true and there is no need to change it up. Tonight the whole wheat crust was being kinda bossy and the manager came outta the kitchen to our table to explain he had tried throwing it three times and it just wasn’t behaving like it should. He offered an upgrade to a 16″ or same size 12″ regular crust. We opted for the later, then he offered to send another beer since we would have to wait a bit longer. There was apology, acceptance, alternatives and action. Thank you, Lupi’s. Your za keeps our bellies coming back, but your people feed our hearts.

Fantastic atmosphere with funky lighting and decorations. Not to mention unique menu items. I got a slice of the California pizza. It’s good! I’d say like a 6.8/10.

Stopped in for a casual dinner and had a great experience. The Margherita slice was fresh and flavorful, the Caprese salad was bright and well‑balanced, and the 12″ Signature pizza was the highlight with a crisp crust and bold toppings. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere has that cozy, eclectic downtown charm. Two Pinot Grigios and a fountain drink rounded out the meal for a very reasonable total.

A reliable, tasty spot for pizza lovers and an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the Broad Street area.

Maybe getting a whole pizza is better, than what I did

Just got two slices of supreme. But my slices were dry, all the topping were way raw. And one slice had almost no toppings, and the second I did not want to finish: was over loaded with olives.

Wasn’t worth the $22 buck, with drink.

I’ll try a whole pie next time. But, real talk. The staff are fun, and work hard.

The pizza itself was good. But when my husband went to pick it up, I had neglected to tell him whether I paid over the phone for the pickup order or not. So he asked the cashier and she disrespectfully laughed in his face, said no, and walked away. We understand they probably get people trying to steal orders all the time, but we were greatly disappointed in the service and atmosphere here. Then our simple pepperoni pizza was missing the pepperonis. So, although for a cheese pizza it tasted good, it was not worth the expensive price or rude service.

We walked to Lupi’s Pizza from our hotel and had a great experience! The fresh pepperoni pizza was a hit with the whole family, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group of five. We also tried their signature pizza. While it was good, the garlic was a bit overpowering for our taste—but I still enjoyed it! Overall, it was a wonderful spot for a family dinner, and we’d definitely come back for that amazing pepperoni pizza.
