I’m going to say something that’s truly surprising.
This place, you know when everything just comes together?
I ordered grilled octopus, then I ordered a dish that I won’t describe, but I’ll leave photos.
And in the end, I did something unusual.
I accepted the dessert that the restaurant suggested, and I have to say it was the best dessert of my life.
So I’ll say something more, my husband and I really enjoy good restaurants and good cuisine, we know what’s truly good and we know how to appreciate what’s good without judgment, but rather as a complement.
I’ll talk a little about our experience yesterday… we went to a restaurant in Chicago and also wrote a review for that other restaurant… my husband and I were totally disappointed, considering the price paid and the food, the preparation of the dishes and the entire menu were completely out of sync with the atmosphere.
And the restaurant itself is incredible, the people who work there, the people who served us, everyone was amazing, the atmosphere was wonderful, modern, but the real problem was the food preparation.
But today I came here, tried this restaurant, and completely loved everything; everything complemented each dish ordered.
I also work in the food industry, and I’m very happy when everything is so well-aligned.
So my review will be a great one, with all the details, because this place is a great place. Thank you

Our dining experience was absolutely charming. We experienced the 5 course tasting menu and every dish was so beautifuly balanced – stunning, thoughtful and tasty. The ambiance of Lupi & Iris is incredible – beautifully designed, not too noisy, unique, high end, cozy, dimly lit. The chef came and greeted us towards the end of our meal to check in (classy). And our waitress, Brit, was wildly hospitable. She was incredibly knowledgable on the dishes, and acting as the welcoming heart of the restaurant… she made our dining experience so special. The cost/value of the experience was completely balanced and we are so grateful.

I had the seasonal tasting menu, my wife had the lobster ravioli. The food was very good, the atmosphere was quite nice. The service was stellar, our waiter had adequate knowledge of the food preparation and history. Dessert course was the best course of the seasonal tasting menu, and that is not to diminish the other dishes. The flavors, textures, colors, plating, were all perfection when it came to the sorbet. Overall, exactly what I was looking for in a nice birthday dinner.

1st time visitors and it was an amazing experience. Great place for a special occasion such as a birthday. We had seats near the kitchen and got to watch all the action. Came for my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved it. Had the Seasonal 5 course meal and it was SO good. Our Server Jeff K. was amazing, very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. He made us feel very special.

First visit to this restaurant….first appetizer – beef tartare – and the first thing that stares at me from the plate is the pile of completely “dead” arugula. Come on – if you are pretending to be a nice restaurant (which you may be) and you are selling 3 oz of beef tartare for $25, at least have the decency of putting fresh arugula on top of it. It makes you wonder if the rest of the food coming from the kitchen is as “fresh”.
Epic (and easily avoidable- don’t put any arugula at all) failure IMHO.
The rest of the food was good though. Service was hit and miss – waited for a drink for 15 minutes.
Special kudos to pastry chef for an inventive desert – Pots de Creme au Caramel.
You can do better.

My husband and I had a lovely experience at Lupi and Iris.
We enjoyed their grilled octopus, cavatelli ragu, waygu steak, veal chop, as well as lemon olive oil cake, and caramel custard. Truly a fine dining experience. Our waiter Louis was very accommodating and personable. He even served us complimentary champagne for our anniversary – such a kind gesture! We will certainly be back! ❤️

This is a perfect spot for a special occasion. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time yesterday for my birthday. The service was excellent, and our server, Ian, made us feel special. We started off with the trofie al limone, which was delicious. For entrees, my boyfriend ordered the wagyu, and I ordered the branzino (special menu item for that day). Both were delicious. We ordered the olive oil cake for dessert, and that was amazing. Our server even brought out a complementary basque cheesecake! I’m now recommending Lupi & Iris to my friends and family.

We had such a fantastic dining experience. The staff were so warm and friendly. The kitchen was so fun to watch while dining. The food was INSANE. Highly recommend the veal chop and the bavette (wagyu steak) if you are hungry and want a hearty meal. We also got appetizers and dessert so m we left stuffed and happy. The ambience is also fabulous. We enjoyed going into the wine fridge as well. Even the bathrooms were impressive. Thank you for giving us a date night we will never forget!
