This is my first time ever to visit a Lupe tortilla, and I was quite impressed. My water glass was promptly refilled. Our waiter was amazing.

Yesterday my friend and I came to eat a late lunch after attending a funeral They were very slow and few customers . . Our waiter took our order and later delivered food to the ladies behind us in their booth. We heard one of the ladies say, “this isn’t my order”. The waiter said, “yes it is! You wanted no meat in your enchiladas”. She said something like I disagree. The waiter then started lashing out at her, and basically saying she was crazy. My friend realized, that they had gotten our order, and we told the water, who by now was nasty. He plopped down the dishes at our table, and my friend’s plate ( enchiladas) had been started in by person behind me, ( partner to the lady who had been attacked verbally by waiter). Disgusting.
I am shocked, we barely ate and left. I am also shocked the couple behind us didn’t walk out after being verbally attacked, for no reason.
I have been coming to Lupe’s for years. Can’t say I would return anytime soon.

Service was appalling. We arrived at 11:50am and even though or drink order were taken right away it took 20 minutes to arrive and we were able to place an appetizer order. It took until 1pm for our waiter to return to take our main order. The waitor tried to leave before all the orders were placed as well. By then our drinks had been empty for a good 20 mins. Food took another 40mins to arrive and my order and my daughter’s were forgotten with our waiter still not in sight. We had to ask for a manager to get it ordered. By now we had been here for almost two hours and the other tabels on our area had already cleared out. Once the food did arrive it was quite good. I know it was high traffic time but that was the worst I have had for a long time.

Also, even though my group were the only ones there service was really slow; our waiter basically disappeared after taking our food and drink order and it took 30-45min to get our food. Their tres leches was ok, but I had to remind the waiter to bring it out after ordering it. Don’t think I’ll be back, cannot recommend

I was very pleasantly suprised eating here. The Cypress location is closer, but their food isn’t as good as this location plus here they give you the bean salsa the Cypress location dosent offer that at least the times before when I had gone. The food here was excellent and I will definitely drive a little further to come here. The service was good as well. Highly recommend coming here.
