Today was my second time visiting Lupe while on work trips and they do a great job every time. The biggest thing to highlight here is always the service. They have IMPECCABLE service. Even when we had a party of 30+ people, they were able to accommodate us and make sure we were taken care of at all times the entire visit. Great job on the service here.
Today, there were only three of us and service was still perfect. During happy hours (weekdays 3:00-6:00PM), there is a $1.50 draft beer. You can’t argue with that. We also ordered the guac and queso on the side which had hefty portions and tasted great. For my meal, I ordered the steak Lupe (10 oz) and although it tasted fine and had habaneros and 2 other kinds of chili (SPICY), I was a bit let down on what I got for ($31). I’ll order something else the next time I go there.
I can’t wait to go back and have another good time at Lupe!

Food was simply delicious. Fantastic Tex-Mex flavours.
All was fresh, balanced, and nicely plated. I really enjoy spicy Tex-Mex gumbo. Same goes for the steak.

The visit was okay. We had a birthday reservation for 9. Our server let us know in advance that he could only split checks into 4. Not a problem! Drinks took very long. Entrees took just as long and 3 of us did not get our food modified but we did not complain or send anything back. When we got our checks the server filled in our receipts. I understand most places have an added gratuity but they normally have it written somewhere or the server let’s you know. Instead he just filled in our signed copies dropped them off without any explanation. Our food was excellent! Great flavor and a large portions but it was a little disappointing the people next to us also had a birthday going on and they came and sang to them while we easily combined spent over $400 and did not receive the same service. We even had a cake but never got plates or napkins for it. We only came here because we recently had an amazing experience at the new Caney location but this one was a big bust.

My second time there, I was glad to see my favorite Trio. I was recommend the beef and chicken fajita! As well it was fabulous, my drink was Black Barrel with a shot of Grand Mariner!

Had a great business dinner with colleagues. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the burrito pictured which was very tasty and and filling. It was accompanied by a few Pacificos to wash it down. There is a massive choice of food on the menu so there is something for everyone’s taste.

This is the second time I came to this location. The first time I came the food was delicious and the server was amazing! This time around however, was far from that. First off, our server Angel wasn’t kind and his energy felt unwarming. He was attentive and kind to the tables around us, even shaking the hand of a table before they left, but when it came to our table; it felt forced and unwelcoming. He literally only came to our table once or twice. I had to ask for my a side of lemons 3 times. It wasn’t a busy a day until we left so I didn’t understand why it seemed like he was too busy for our table. He never once asked my partner if they wanted refills on a clearly plain glass of water. I always had to get his attention to get something and it was met with what I felt an attitude. I didn’t want to feel like I was bothering him (a feeling no one should have when dining out, plus he was never around), so I asked the server next to me if they could kindly get our kids free ice creams. The food was ok. My chilaquiles were cold considering they were on a warming skillet plate, I just ate my side potatoes since it was still piping hot. Overall the ordeal soured our experience at this location. We will definitely be going to the Sugar Land location, which is a lot nicer and I don’t have to wait until almost the end of my meal to get me and my family a refill.

We had an awesome lunch this afternoon.
We don’t have the appetite as we did in our younger years. So, we had the queso flameado with spinach and artichoke added. It comes with 2 tortillas that are probably my favorite tortillas, nice and thin. We also had the ribs. Don’t sleep on the ribs. They are very lean and fall off the bones.
We also got a pound of beef fajitas and a couple of orders of chicken flautas. This should take care of our Mexican food fix for awhile. Added bonus is that Johnny, a managing partner stopped and introduced himself and talked about the ribs. It’s the little details that keep an establishment thriving.

Johnny, Damian and Fatima treated us like regular patrons although we’ve only been a handful of times. We dined in for a leisurely lunch and Damian seemed to have quite a large section. We ensured him that we were in no rush and that he could take care of his other tables to help everyone get back to their busy work day.
Johnny stopped by to check on us and talk up the ribs. We are already sold on them from a previous visit. We got a whole order because they are so delicious. Fatima came and welcomed us back and says she haven’t seen us in awhile. We live a distance and just happened to be in the area. Good food, fantastic service is so rare to find .
