No wait walked right in. Service was good and friendly. I ordered the 10 once sirloin it was a little weird it came in two pieces, 1 thicker than the other. The thicker one may be one of the best sirloins I have had. The thinner one was average. The fried pickles were very good. The drinks come in oversized quart jars. Very nice. My wife had the tilapia and said it was excellent.

This is one of the best places to come. The burgers and fries are ah-mazing. The chef salad for the light eaters are definitely going to get full off this meal. Service is on point and feels like family. Ask for Tommy! Tommy is such a great server and always takes great care of us.

I was very disappointed with this visit! I have eaten at this establishment about seven times in the last 2 months. It is usually pretty good. I’ve told people about it so that they would try it out.
Today’s experience was not what I have been recommending. I sat there for over ten minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me and to take a drink order. When my Monterey chicken was served 15-20 minutes later, it was cold. I couldn’t complain yo my waitress because she never came back to check on me. It took another waitress to ask me how everything was. I was there for atleast two hours and only saw my waitress four times. A table behind me complained to her when she finally showed back up at their table.
I will probably not be going back and that’s too bad for finding a decent place to eat in Uvalde and too bad for the customers. I still left her a decent tip, even though she didn’t deserve one.

My friend and I visited Lunkers Bar for drinks and appetizers after work. We were very pleased with the service and atmosphere. The bartender was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the wings. We also appreciated the friendly interactions we had with other patrons during our visit.”
The ice cream shop inside the restaurant was a nice little touch and a must have after dinner.

They were subjected to disrespectful and inappropriate behavior from other customers (young boys, because real men don’t behave like this ) while attempting to play pool. The situation included aggressive language that was uncalled for. While we recognize this was an issue between patrons and not staff, such behavior is concerning and negatively impacts the overall perception of the establishment.”

A more proactive approach to managing customer-to-customer interactions could help ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all guests, particularly in areas like the pool tables and the young boys. It was a nice place. We visited around 3pm, when it’s still more in “restaurant mode” instead of “bar mode” which I suppose happens much later in the evening. It was a nice atmosphere, was clean enough too. Our server was Alyssa, hopefully I’m spelling it correctly. She was very nice and friendly. We ordered food and drinks. The drinks were good, but the food was just okay. We had chicken fried steak, with fried okra and green beans. The chicken fried steak tasted good, but maybe needed more flavor, in my opinion. The fried okra was okay, maybe too crispy, more crust than okra. The green beans were good too, but a teensy bit spicy hot, so just fyi. Had a bottle of Lone Star with the meal, because TEXAS! For dessert we walked to the ice cream bar in it’s own room near the front entrance to the restaurant. Go have some ice cream too, it was a nice treat! ☺️

Both food items were extremely greasy and burger was lacking seasoning and taste, same for fries. Definitely not a $14 burger experience. Service was ok. Restaurant was clean and would be a nice place with better food quality.

Walking it was spacious tables far apart which was nice. We ordered drinks and the server forgot my hubs beer, I had to remind her. For the starter we had fried pickles which were very good. My poor chicken fried chicken looks crisp to that it folded up. The corn tasted like it was frozen thawed and refroze and heated again. Fries were hot and crispy.
My husband’s plate was smothered chicken. He said it was editable nothing WOW about it.
Kids got the 2 sliders and the chicken littles. They eat everything and pretty much anything.
My overall opinion is its ok. We more then likely will not return.

Slow service, food was sub par at best. Forgot one of my appetizers, so I had it removed from the bill. My husband ordered a medium well steak, and got a rare steak instead and had to send it back. This place is way over priced for the quality of food that you get.

No waiting time at time of Visit. Ordered El Nacho Grande with ground beef, it was awesome good taste, fresh lettuce & tomatoes on top, shredded cheese was used instead of cheese sauce. I ordered the smothered patty plate which is a hamburger steak topped with mushrooms, sauted onions & bacon. Greens beans and mashed potatoes. We also ordered a cowboy burger which has cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños and bacon. Awesome would recommend. The swiss mushroom burger was delicious. Freshly made with onion rings. Place was clean, prompt service and servers were awesome and attentive. Will visit again when in the area.
