The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. I really appreciated that they let you sample different soups before purchasing it which made choosing so much easier. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which adds to the overall great experience. The music selection was on point, and the restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. It had been a few years since I’ve eaten here after switching jobs; this place is just as good as I remember. The made from scratch soups are excellent. The staff is great and I was happy to see some familiar faces all these years later. It used to be a staple lunch spot of mine and I’m so glad it’s stuck around. Highly recommend.
Chicken Pot Pie is always a solid choice, but the spicy Bayou Chk/rice is really tasty if you like a little heat.

Lunchtime has the best catering for breakfast and lunch! Their quiche is always a hit and a little different than just your regular continental breakfast. It arrives hot and fresh every time. The fruit bowl is so fresh and beautiful and the pastries are always perfect. On time with great customer service – I love Lunchtime.

I love that they always have tasty varied vegetarian and vegan soup options available. But every sandwich I’ve gotten from here has been a disaster, always a sopping mess that falls apart while trying to eat it. The sweet potato sandwich has so much potential but it always comes out soaked and the sweet potatoes are cut in large cubes rather than slices so they always all fall out.

The staff was very friendly, it was our 1st time here…they gave us samples of different soups, my husband had the chicken noodle it was over the top…I had the chicken garlic parm.
It was outstanding..we split a Jive turkey sandwich, it was so good and fresh…if I’m ever in Detroit again this will be my 1st stop,I might come in every day to try a different soup each day.

Hands down the best lunch spot Downtown Detroit!!! The line is usually pretty long but moves much faster than you’d think. This place isn’t only affordable, the food is . I usually go with the the soup & sandwich for like $9. So far I’ve had the Atomic Turkey & the Buffalo Chicken wrap, both amazing!! The soup changes daily but at least you know it’s fresh, sandwiches are made fresh as well. As for the soups I’ve had the Seafood Lobster Bisque & the Creamy Chunky Chicken, no flaws in either. The corn bread also SLAPS & only costs $1.

Delicious, fresh sandwich. I got the atomic turkey sandwich and it was filling. I couldn’t finish that and the soup. The soup was just good. The sandwich was for sure the star of the show. Quite a bit of seating, different snack and drink options (bottled or canned – no fountain)

Lunchtime Global is a lifesaver when you need a quick soup and/or sandwich style lunch. Their food is delicious, consistently high quality, and they have a wide variety of choices for folks with dietary restrictions. Also, no one hussles harder than the team here! They’re always working super hard and they crank out orders incredibly fast, while always being super nice and friendly. If you stop in and get great service, be sure to leave a tip. They deserve it.

Ordered a turkey Sandwich. Got home opened it and It’s so messy and just nasty that I’m unable to pick it up.. it’s dressing just dripping from everywhere. I’m sooooo not happy. Drove all the way downtown, found parking and now unable to eat my sandwich. It’s literally fail apart as soon as I picked it up..
