Nice little spot with super friendly service that makes you feel like you’re in someone’s kitchen. Definitely home cooking. The sides are really good here, I definitely enjoyed the Mac and cheese and greens. The chicken is good, seasoned pretty well, fried just right. Breading isn’t too heavy. I liked it. Pork chops were too salty, wasn’t a fan. Can’t wait till they reopen, it’s a great lunch spot that gives you bang for your buck.

This is an option for lunch during the week. We try to incorporate it in about once per week because they offer things like baked chicken and an offering of vegetables. We try to eat healthier than what you find at most lunch spots. It’s a home cooking type of affair. Their food is decent… sometimes great… sometimes a little disappointing it’s hit or miss depending on your expectations. But we stop once per week… so it’s not all that bad… just some things are better than others. What could be better, is the speed of service. If you don’t have limited time, no problem. The servers are friendly and polite… they just seem to be stretched a little thin. I can’t say I’ve had a bad experience here… nor have I ever walked out bragging. I’m just being realistic. Home style food at affordable prices with slow but friendly service.

THE place to go for classic Southern style home cooking. The sides are nostalgia inducing and the cooking is way above par. They also have the best service. I can’t recommend Lunch on Main highly enough (you can go for dinner too!). I wish they were open for breakfast on weekends because I’m sure that’s great, too.

Great Food At a small place but big on TASTE. SOUTHERN SOUL FOOD COOKING AT ITS BEST and the Banana Pudding is Awesome.
Fried chicken like your Granny cooked, and old country flavor.

Nice old place! Seems like a very sweet family business being run for years. The staff was super friendly, and it’s been a local favorite for people who work in nearby offices. Came during a busy lunch hour but there was plenty of room for seating. The banana pudding was highly recommended and definitely worth it!

I asked for chicken soup and got beef soup instead. That would not have been so much as a problem but it was tomato based and I am allergic to tomatoes
I sent the soup back but the waitress said the chef said it was chicken soup. I have cooked for my family over 50 YEARS!! I DEFINITELY by now know the difference between beef an chicken. The waitress took it off the bill. Service was fine and friendly. The peach cobbler was delicious.

This place is great for eating lunch, getting some good homestyle food and they have amazing choices for a vegetable plate. Be careful if you are vegan, some vegetable items are cooked with meat, but just ask and they will inform you. The customer service is unbeatable. My teams go to place when we are in the area.
