A great place to eat for friends and or family. It was nice, quiet and has great service! We all chose pizza, but they also have sandwichs, calzones, dessert, etc. You can do a specialty or build your own.They also have a bar and pool tables as well.

My family met at Luna’s after my three and five year old girls spent the weekend at their grandparents in Western NC (Rutherfordton is the perfect halfway point for us to meet between our house in Charlotte and theirs in Sylva). A lot of times we have to meet at a fast food restaurant or gamble on something we’ve never been to. When I say we hit the Jackpot! We hit our new meeting place. This is the absolute CUTEST little main street with a children’s museum in walking distance.
At Lunas, the server was spectacular! The bar tender loved what she does and her bopping around singing with such a beautiful, fun presence made the whole restaurant cozy and charming. The pizza was SO GOOD! We ordered fried ravioli and pickles for apps and my kids devoured those fried pickles. There is a wonderful adult beverage selection, nothing like a delicious slice with a cold Peroni. Highly recommend! 12 out of 10, the girls had space to run and play and loved exploring the billiard tables. I cannot wait to come back. (Our visit was Dec. 29, 2025)

What a great find in Rutherfordton. We had heard about tge great Thai food but they were closed. But right accross the lot sat Lunas. We didnt come fir pizza but sure am glad we did. The pizza is a nice aize for the price, but the crust was excellent. The sauce is just right for the ingreadients. We had the Magarita and highly recommend it. We also orderes the garlic knots. We coukd have juat chowed down on those. A definite must order appetizer. The server was a new gentleman, but was very attentive but not diatracting. He knew the menu and provided great advice on the food and what to do in Rutherfordton on that day. The atmospher ia nice but nothing special. Just go have some pizza and smile.

We’ve been coming to Luna’s for awhile through some ups and and downs, and they are back to having excellent food at a reasonable price!!! I had manicotti and my husband had chicken parm and both were excellent. Waitress was cheerful and wonderful. Just want them to being back breaded mushrooms to the apps menu (though we are told they can still make them). Hoping everyone in the community will give them business…. We want our local businesses in Rutherfordton to thrive!

First time there. Me and my husband ordered chicken parmesan. The breading on the chicken tasted old, the chicken tasted frozen, and the spaghetti sauce was spicy hot, so spicy I couldn’t eat it. We let the waitress know who was the go between for us and manager/owner I guess. We asked if they could take it off the bill because I couldn’t eat it. Waitress first said 50% and then said let me talk to the manager. She left, came back, and said sorry we can’t take it off but can discount it 10%. We were not happy about that but she apologized. The owner/manager never came out to apologize, offer a resolution, nothing. He left it up to the waitress to carry his/her message to us. We had planned to stay and shoot pool and have a drink, but told the waitress to let them know they just lost more money than what the meal was worth because we were not going to spend anymore money there. Not very professional owner/manager. You could have come out and apologized and offered to make me something else or take it off my bill. We won’t be back.

I recently visited Luna’s Pizza, and I must say it was such nice experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us decide what to order with great recommendations. The atmosphere was perfect, with a fantastic playlist where every song was exactly what I wanted without even knowing it!
The highlight, of course, was the pizza – it was absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of flavors and a crispy crust. Every bite was a better than the last! The entire dining experience was top-notch, and I can’t wait to return from Charlotte and see what they turn this restaurant into because the potential is through the roof! Highly recommend Luna’s for anyone looking for 10/10 pizza, playlist, and people!

Bruschetta was really delicious and cheesy. Spaghetti was great and a very large portion. The chef salad was really good. They have pool tables and fun music.

Salads were very fresh, meatball appetizer was great, gluten free pizza was also fresh and delicious also had the lasagna which was good. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend Lunas Rutherfordton!

Slipped away from jury duty to try this place out. The waitress provided great service and the food was great. But… they were playing some screeching heavy metal music that had my nerves all wound up(not a quiet, peaceful lunch), and just thought it odd what type of atmosphere they were trying to provide. Later, two other jurors that were there talked with me about it and we were all kinda shocked and not inclined to go back.
