Haven’t been able to visit this establishment for a while but guess what they continue to provide the most amazing service! Late lunch/ early dinner and what can I say about JOE C C our server!!! From the moment we sat down till we left ~ such an awesome time. He noted my food allergies and didn’t skip a beat! Went above and beyond and always smiled and made sure our dining experience was outstanding!!

We often cater food from here at work. My office gloves the rice balls. I greatly enjoy their Luna salad. When eating at the restaurant I love their wings. Service is lovely and restaurant has a nice ambient. They also have a paid parking lot behind the restaurant.

First time here and thought it was great. We came to Nutley to visit our oldest son who just moved there and this came up on quick google search. Staff was very nice place was decorated for Christmas and just an overall nice place. We ordered four pizzas and they were all very tasty and thin crust was great if this is what you like. We for sure will make this our go to spot when visiting him in the future

Luna is NEVER a disappointment. There is nothing on the menu that I have tried that didn’t exceed in flavor, taste and the way it was prepared. The Pizza’s, – all great. The main courses, great. The sandwiches, great. The Apps, – great. The Salads, great.
The owner Lou and his entire staff including the cooks, bartenders, waiters and waitresses make this place what it is.
A wonderful experience in my hometown! Highly recommend if you are thinking about trying. They also have a private party room that could be rented out if you are looking for a place.

Came here with hubby for Father’s Day. Everything was Excellent from Service to food. Had a wonderful server who kept coming over to check on us. The Red Sangria was very good. Appetizers were amazing. Chicken Parm with Spaghetti was absolutely delicious . For dessert with had the Chocolate Molten cake. OMG yum. I just happened to Google this place and give it a try..so glad I did. Already making plans to go back.

Get an extra pizza and take it home for later, it was excellent after about 5 minutes in the oven! Very good experience and friendly staff. Also reasonably priced. We started with some beer, it was standard and nice. We had the chicken bites for an app, they were good and crispy. For the entre we had a pizza with perciutto. The crust was perfect and the saltiness of the perciutto was spot on, a good compliment to the mozzarella. On the way out we ordered a Margarita pie to take home, since we had gone out earlier that night. It cooked really well at home later that night. Good environment and a nice little local spot. Overall I give Luna Wood Fore Tavern a 4.2 out of 5.

Started off with 2 pizzas, margarita, and pepperoni. Both pies were perfectly cooked, and the presentation is excellent. The bar pie size is normal. The pies have great flavors, and I like the sauce. They use the small sliced pepperoni that when baked turns into little cups and holds some of the oils from the pepperoni. I absolutely love that. To my disappointment, the bottoms were barely cooked and not done nearly enough for a traditional WOOD FIRED PIZZA experience.
The MEATBALLS are very good. Taste like my Grandma Rose’s from Sicily. I Recommend
The SAUSAGE and PEPPERS are excellent, and I’m sorry I didn’t eat more of them. Tender and cooked perfectly. Definitely Recommend
The CALAMARI is very good and not overcooked like many other establishments. Frozen and not freshly made.
CHICKEN PARMESAN is tender and flavorful. It’s doused with a good amount of tomato sauce, and I liked it a lot. The MOZZARELLA Cheese is a part skim type and melts into a solid thin layer, but you’ll need a knife to cut through it cause your fork won’t get the job done. It’s definitely not the gooey stretchy mozzarella we all know and love
The tomato sauce is very good, and they’re definitely not stingy with how much they use.

My boyfriend got the check looked it over and gave the waitress his card. Once he got the receipt back with his card, he noticed she ended up changing the check with someone else’s check and charged my boyfriend’s card , our check was $62 he ended up getting charged for someone’s $160 bill. Like how does that happen ? The waitress initially gave him the right check!!! Then she just switched the check with someone else’s lol the manager claimed the waitress was new but again , how does that happen? Never going there again lol
