Delicious food at Luna! Started off with fried calamari … delicious, crispy rings and tentacles lightly breaded and served with lemon wedges and a zippy cocktail sauce. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was well sauced, ample pieces of pancetta all through the dish, but it was a little salty. Dessert was Italian Crème Brûlée … deliciously creamy with a crunchy sugar topping, sliced strawberry and blackberries. To die for! The staff was welcoming and friendly, always there to pour more water or ask if you needed anything. I will come back again.

This Italian Restaurant is an absolute gem in the Mendocino community! It’s hidden from the main street, really adorable outside and indoor eating area. It embodies the charm and historic nature of the whole town, plus the entire experience was very authentic, from the Italian accent of the waiter to the homemade pasta! Definitely a MUST-VISIT if you are in this town!

In a word…. Delicious! In more words…. Charming, treehouse – like outdoor dining. Very friendly staff and the owner was so nice and heavily involved in his patrons dining experience! Bread basket super yummy…. Homemade ravioli, chicken parmigiana and kiddos marinara pasta were all just so, so good! We are hoping to go back for a second dinner before our vacation wraps up! That is how much we enjoyed this special gem of a restaurant! ☺️

Cute spot where you walk through a side passageway of a house/building to get to the front of the restaurant. It’s got a lovely cozy feel, and the outdoor patio is set within a garden with pretty string lights. It happens to be next to a spa as well, which I checked out for fun.
