I came here on Saturday night around 5 pm for dinner and the vibes were great. Beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and nice skylights. The food was presented so immaculately and tasted amazing. I got the short ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots. The potatoes were fantastic and the meat was great too. My husband got a pork chop and he said it was great, and I tried his brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potato and they were delicious too. On the pricey side but great spot for a date night or special occasion.

My boyfriend and I went yesterday for his birthday dinner, and to say we were happy was an understatement! The service and atmosphere was fantastic. The food was also incredible – I was nervous to try the octopus starter because we’ve had it at different places where we didn’t like it but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. The small touches for his birthday did not go unnoticed, and definitely added to our experience. The drinks were also great, I especially loved the special that was a fall sour cocktail. 10/10 recommend

Delicious fresh ingredients which we’re prepared to perfection and the service was awesome too! Plenty of space inside of the restaurant and they do offer outside dining too! We parked nearby and no problem with our reservations. Drinks, desserts and atmosphere all were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion or to enjoy a delicious meal. My daughter and son-in-law wanted me to taste the food since they went there to celebrate their anniversary. Looking forward to going back again.

On a lark, we decided to try Luna Stella for dinner earlier this week. We caught it out of the corner of our eyes as it is tucked away slightly off the Main Street of Maplewood, but boy are we glad we found it! We happened to catch them on a live music night so we decided to sit at a bar table and while the dining room was nearly empty, the bar was full. Our waiter was attentive even with a full plate of tables and the owner came over to us several times to see how we were doing. Our drinks were very good, but the food was amazing! The chicken was pounded so thin for the Milenese and fried perfectly. The short rib pappardelle had a deep unctuous beef flavor but was not heavy at all. The pasta was cooked perfectly! We will definitely be going back!

Extremely slow service. Came for my birthday. We first sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes to just be acknowledged by the bartender. Then it took another 10 minutes for drinks. My husband received his Manhattan in a martini glass. When we sat for dinner, it took close to 3 hours for 5 people to receive and eat their food. Not sure if they are understaffed, but everything took an extraordinary amount of time. My husband also mentioned to the waitress about bringing out a birthday dessert, which never happened. There was never even an acknowledgment or apology for how long everything was taking. Not sure we will be visiting again.

Stopped here for a work dinner, shared all the appetizers (the bread and the fried rock shrimp and hamatchi crudo were the best ones). The main I had a lobster papardelle, massage and lobster were good but there was a huge chunk of pasta that wasn’t in the sauce but just rolled up and boiled, not enough flavor in that piece. The scallops, I thought the raisin sauce was particularly good. The dessert mousse and apple pie was okay, I like the ice cream so hopefully they can just do that by itself next time.

Ravioli seemed frozen, was hard around edges in salty, thin ‘sauce’.Brussels sprouts were flavorless. Not what I expected for the price. Maybe the chef was on vacation. Service was meh. I could go on- why bother-go somewhere else. This is diner food, insulting to Italians. Waste of $60 for hard ravioli and a vegetable.

Chef Klaus and Adam are crushing it – service is knowledgeable and attentive, food is modern and delicious- ( tuna app – burrata app – venison entree and short rib were some of my favorites from our visit ) and don’t forget dessert !!! Vegan options ( including ones you wouldn’t think could be vegan ) and an extensive offering of after dinner drinks by the glass. Highly recommend and will certainly return!!

I had the vegetarian fusilli with tofu and it was barely seasoned. Tofu had zero seasoning on it and the pasta/veggies basically had salt and pepper. So flavorless. Maybe other items are better but I can’t believe how bland that dish was.
