While staying just north of Yachats I drove by this restaurant one afternoon. The reviews were good so I tried it that night. I had the cod and chips, and they were excellent. There were 6 big chunks of cod, 2-3 bites each, and thick fries. The staff checked on me several times. I will be back.

Sustainable seafood caught in the wild. Luna has a cozy little pub style atmosphere. Most dishes, they give you a choice of deep fried or grilled. We really like the place. Had Christmas Eve dinner there tonight.

What a fun and inviting atmosphere! We had a wonderful breakfast there, all the food was home made and cooked with love. Absolutely delicious! Our cook Judy who I’ve known from other dinning experiences is the best! Her cooking feels like a homemade meal from mom, and she is always so loving and welcoming! Our new favorite spot! Will visit every time we come to the Newport area!

I loved the design of this place, such a beautiful, cute setting. I felt I was in a Hallmark movie. Staff/service was fantastic, very polite and genuine.
I ordered a special of the day, “The Old Timer”, and enjoyed it. It did have chilli flakes in the gravy I believe, which I didn’t enjoy as I am allergic to peppers of all kinds…it would’ve been nice to know on the menu (hence my deduction of a star for food). The rest was great, I do recommend coming here still and would come back.

Exceptional food, service, and hospitality
Luna Sea Fish House delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. The fish was absolutely spectacular—fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. We ordered the Taco Tuesday Fish Taco Trio, which was fantastic on its own, but the real surprise was the “House Salad.” Calling it a side almost feels wrong—it could easily stand alone as a meal. Loaded with mandarin oranges, tomatoes, walnuts, and cranberries, it was fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully composed.
What truly set the experience apart was the hospitality. Owner Robert Anthony personally stopped by our table to welcome us, which was a top-tier touch and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. The staff was attentive, friendly, and clearly proud of what they serve.
Amazing food, superior service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We will absolutely be back!

Super cute, a little eclectic. Decent prices. We both had 2 fish tacos and they were excellent. All seafood is fresh. Definitely worth the stop!

Gotta love fresh fish! Such a gem! I didn’t know there was one in Seal Rock! This location is spacious and there was a grooving band outside that night. [Was Sunday before Memorial Day]. We were seated immediately. To my surprise the owner came over and chatted us up. Even saw him working the floor. My son got the cod and I got the fish platter. The salmon was amazing. Also banned a peanut butter pie to go and it was a delicate, boutique version. Thanks, Luna Sea!

Stopped in for breakfast on my travels up north. I got loaded hashbrowns with eggs and a side biscuit and gravy. Excellent.

DONT ORDER THEIR GRILLED SEAFOODS unless you don’t think overpriced foods is a big deal. We visited this restaurant after seeing many high-rated reviews and ordered the Luna Sea Platter & Chips. While the food was okay, I found the portion size quite small for the $27 price. The dish included one thin pieces of dry halibut, three small scallops, and two average-sized prawns. It might suit those with a lighter appetite (?), but personally, I was hoping for a bit more. There are other restaurants in the area that offer more generous portions at a similar price point.
