Went here on a family recommendation. We grabbed and early dinner and some drinks. If your coming here I’d have to recommend the Tamales. I got the Tamale Luna Maya and it was really tasty! It came served with rice and was plenty for one person.

I have been coming to Luna Maya for the last six years for one thing and one thing only: Tamales Luna Maya. I have ordered them at least once a week, with the exception of the week of June 2019, when I was out of town for a business trip. If I was smart, I would’ve ordered to-go before traveling, but I won’t make the same mistake twice. The bartenders are so nice, the drinks always exceed expectation, and the food absolutely never disappoints. I hope everyone gets a chance to come by, at least once in their lives. This is how the good lord intended.

It was our first time at Luna Maya and it did not disappoint! We ordered many items to share including the fish tacos, mushroom poblano quesadilla, the vegetarian tamale, and chips with guac/salsa! Everything including our drinks were delicious, and the service and atmosphere were great! We will definitely be back.

Yes! Best resturaunt in 757. Luna Maya is hands down my favorite place for dinner in Hampton Roads. The food is always excellent. They have the closest thing I’ve tasted to the Cuban black beans I grew up with and the tamales are a masterclass one their own. I look forward to my next visit.

I was so surprised this place got such great reviews. The staff was pretty nice but the food was so bad. The chips and queso was very cold and we got taquitos and the taste was so off-putting we just paid and left and found another restaurant. One of the worst tasting for food I’ve had.

I have been to Luna Maya many times, had a great experience; HOWEVER, tonight is the last I come to this place, because I found a roach on the wall and seat. Now, I am wondering how clean this place and food have been in the uncountable times I have eaten here. SO DISAPPOINTING.
