This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel, I highly regard Hilton Hotels due to their high standards, which is why I chose this restaurant when there were so many other options. Luna Lux was relatively quiet for breakfast on a weekday, the holiday decorations were beautiful and the background music was lovely.
I’m not exactly sure how to review this restaurant; I loved the ambiance so much and the food was good, I had the cheese omlet, unfortunately there was very little cheese in the cheese omlet, so that was disappointing. The menu is limited, most popular breakfast items are available, however there is minimal to no flexibility for substitutions, which is largely redeemable when you have superior service. However, that, above all, is where Luna Lux restaurant is truly lacking. To say the service was bad would be an understatement, especially considering I was one of the only customers in the restaurant the majority of the 1.5 hours I was there. In my opinion, it was because I was only one person, and they autograt their tables 18%, so I think my server just didn’t care, thinking that was all she was going to get regardless of the quality of service. She greeted me within 10 minutes, and came back to take my order within 20 minutes, my food arrived quickly, but it was barely warm. The table I was sitting at did not have salt, pepper or any other customary breakfast condiments, the food runner brought me salt, pepper and hot sauce at my request. There was no jelly available for the toast and it wasn’t until I finished my meal and was ready to leave, over 30 minutes later, that my server finally appeared for the first time since taking my order and asked if I’d like a coffee refill or a coffee togo. I then waited another 10 minutes for her to drop off my check, after waiting another 5 minutes for her to pick up my check with my card and her no where to be seen, I ended up just leaving cash. The ambience of this restaurant, is definitely a redeeming quality, I was there for a leisurely breakfast, but if you are in a hurry I would highly advise letting your server know that you would like your check to arrive at the same time as your meal.

When I arrived, the hostess asked “How can I help you?”, which felt odd for a restaurant. The place smelled like old carpet, was a bit dark, and the service felt slow and indifferent. They even forgot my dessert once. Food? Is really really good

One word, wow! Visited Monday eve for a birthday dinner, and was taken back! The food was phenomenal, the customer service was great and overall experience 10/10, I highly recommend this restaurant! If you are craving some Mediterranean food or just some burgers and fries but want a nice vibe, this place is it! Hats off to the chef and the staff working today! You made our day!

Such a pretty space both inside and outside. The restaurant and bar is tropical, the terrace/patio is boho chic and the service, food and drinks are fabulous! Lemon drop martinis are amazing, the tapas are so delicious. Recently had a happy hour event and everyone had such a great time with live music and several happy hour specials. Great spot in North St Pete. No need to be on the beach for an amazing time!

My fiancé and I went here for the restaurant week specials. It’s a great spot in the Hilton and had some great specials that were not on the regular menu (although they should definitely add them!!). The environment is really nice and it was quiet in there on the weekend. The server was attentive and helpful. The food came out quickly and was good portions for the restaurant week special. Everything we had was really yummy. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

We had a layover flight and decided to try out the Hilton in St. Petersburg. From the moment we arrived we have been so happy with our decision. Sergio at the front desk was amazing! He accommodated us and upgraded us for my fiancés birthday. He gave us many recommendations for our stay as well, we truly appreciated his hospitality! Our room is absolutely gorgeous with such a lovely view of the lake! We were starving and the restaurant Luna Lux had just opened at 6:30 am. We were delightfully greeted by Ellen! She was on top of everything – very professional and kind! The lounge itself had a really cool ambiance. The food was delicious, I had a cheese omelet and my fiancé had the French toast. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, this level of service and hospitality is really a rare find these days. Thankful for the amazing service we experienced after a long night of travel – really makes all the difference!

We found Luna while walking the dogs I was watching and decided to give it a try! We dined outside and the decor was stylish and comfortable! Our server, Stephen, was friendly and prompt! We had 2 cocktails to start, my thyme margarita with blueberries was delicious , but my finances Pina Colada seemed very watered down..too much ice. We had a bottle of Albarino, very pleasant and priced appropriately. We opted to share 3 small plates…the smoked salmon, mussels, and octopus. The portions were larger than expected and beautifully presented! The smoked salmon was our favorite, although Grilled Octopus was a close 2nd! The octopus had a beautiful char but was just a bit overdone. The mussels were cooked to perfection, the flavor a bit odd for us..but happy we tried them! We even had desert, which was satisfying but not a home run. We will definitely be back to try more and to hang out in the beautifully maintained grounds!

This Restaurant is in a league of its own. Terrific food, well priced, packed with color and flavorful dishes. While we only had 2 meals from here, we were full each time and the portions seemed overflowing. Elina was an amazing Waitress making sure I had everything I needed since I was taking it back to our room. The first meal was a hamburger and my wife had their lamburger. But burgers were cooked to perfection with the right amount of moistness and the buns were cooked on the grill with a nice fullness of crisp. One of the best burgers I have ever had. And then there were a bunch of artisan frenchfries. Almost overflowing the container. They tasted great by themselves but I am a BBQ guy, so I ate mine with bbq sauce. I was so full after this meal, that it was almost 10 hours later when we had dinner. For dinner, we got their White pizza. There was plenty of food for us. Unlike other White pizzas I have had before, this was had spinach and grape tomatoes. How they cooked the spinach and tomatos on a pizza and turn out so packed with color and flavor is beyond me, all I know is that it was perfect. Located in the lobby of the Hilton hotel. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting and getting some food from!

My wife and I were in town for work and stayed at the Hilton. We ate at Luna Lux and couldn’t have been more pleased.
We started with the Burrata which was spreadable itself and the tomatoes were juicy and flavorful.
I had the lamb burger which was great with the Mediterranean flare. My wife had a shrimp and prosciutto dish that was very tasty as well.
We had great service and it was an enjoyable experience.
