Oh my goodness! Mimosas and the most amazing dish I might have ever had! My hosts (friends) had their lovely traditional breakfast but I had the Chile Relleno stuffed with Tuna. Wow! It was a cold salad dish that I fully intend to try replicating at home. Just look at the photo and you’ll want to try this! The service was great and friendly as well.

Oh boy did we luck off finding this place. We were walking around and decided it was time for lunch. There were five tables filled here so it must be good. I had a salad and my husband had a sandwich. We would come back here over and over again when we are back.

Amazing food. I wish I took a picture first, but you can see it loved it.

I got the Sope con Huevo and the Sope con Pollo. Both were amazing, sope was perfect.

Best meal I’ve had in a while.

I’m still dreaming about the coffee I had here…I ordered a “mocha frappe” and it wasn’t what I expected but the best freaking cold brew coffee I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I ordered a second and my friends all orded one too, it was that good. This little Mexican breakfast spot is a bit hard to find but we’ll worth the visit. Great food, prices and atmosphere and damn that coffee….

I loved having lunch here, it was a true mexican feeling with the seating, atmosphere, service along with a very large iguana outside . Prices are good, mostly breakfast and lunch items only . Good value . Will definitely go back. I had the chicken tacos and my spouse had the enchiladas . Both great .

Lovely spot for breakfast and lunch. We ate here multiple times during our trip to Bucerias – we couldn’t get enough! The food was fresh and healthy, there’s lots of interesting menu options, and their chipotle sauce is to die for. Their beverages are also tasty. If you stay till closing, they feed the iguanas and it’s quite a sight. Highly recommend!

We came here twice for lunch and both times were great. The pork with green salsa was very good, and the chile relleno with tuna as excellent. Prices very reasonable compared with other restaurants in the area. And all the iguanas living in their big tree was a big bonus (they come down between 2-3pm on sunny days)! Appreciated their patience with our mediocre Spanish as well 🙂

Edit: Gail and I are back in February 2023. Still very Mexican and great staff. Had lunch today and it was amazing. Great food here. Take your time and enjoy…..

A more traditional, authentic Mexican style breakfast and lunch place. Warm and inviting interior with a Mexican flair. Service was quick and friendly. Mexican music plays softly in the background.

I ordered the eggs and bacon just because I needed a taste of home. Perfectly cooked over easy eggs (how I like them). Bacon was also perfectly cooked for my taste. Not soft but not crunchy hard either. Plenty of potatoes, some mango on the side and baguette toast rounded it all out. Flavor was fantastic.

Overall, it was a great restaurant for a Mexican breakfast as there are plenty of traditional Mexican dishes available on the menu. Flavor and service are great. Come on in and check it out when you need some breakfast or lunch (they close at 3pm so no dinner here).

Stay full my friends.

Unfortunately I haven’t been here before and I have visited Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias four times in the last 5 months. And I’ve tried pretty much every restaurant since I’m opening one my own.

The restaurant was suggested by the property manager or where I’m staying. The atmosphere is good and they usually have some live band or even a guitar player with someone playing Conga or they’re playing some type of percussion instrument.. The staff are very friendly and speak perfect English and Spanish.
What I love most about the Mexican people cuz it suits me very well as I’m exactly like them jovial relaxed and just aching full advantage of when not working.
I tried the chilaquiles chilaquiles con pollo and it was delicious. I tried it both the red and green. I prefer now the green where I don’t normally like the green sauce on the side here so had a couple bowls. One being more of a Chipotle and another one. Very hot and spicy but tasty spicy sauce.
The orange juice I ordered was fresh leaves squeezed and they asked how you preferred the pulp if they want to strain it more or not. The coffee was average but still good. Coffee and fresh cream which is unheard of. This is a five-star review and they earned it.

Beautiful home restaurant. The place gives a homey feel. It is an actual home and it’s surround by tons of plants, trees and art decor. We came on a Sunday and had live music. Everything on the menu is delicious. I’m a coffee person and decided to have the homemade chai tea which was legit the best chai I’ve ever had. From their chilaquiles to sopas de plátano. Everything was delicious. Chile is flavorful but be careful because it definitely has a kick.
