This place is a hidden gem! So unassuming on the outside, but they serve up seriously gourmet food on the inside. My dad passed out from how good the food was… just kidding. Perfectly-sized portions that allow you to really enjoy the local produce. Our server was fantastic as well, and even got in on our joke photo. Can’t recommend Luna enough!!

I went in for coffee because I love the coffee there and ended up ordering lunch. I had a cheese plate with amazing cheeses and many breads, nuts and dried fruits. I had a mushroom risotto with kale and a perfectly poached egg on top. The mushroom risotto was so flavorful and every bite tasted good. And of course I had a nice big mug of Americano coffee. I also had a white chocolate mousse dessert. So a lot of food for a coffee stop lol. I’m such a foodie and it was lunch time the place was busy, crowded and I liked that had people all around me but restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and it just made it more friendly to be there hearing so many people. There is a deli counter up front that sells cheeses and I believe they sell some of highest quality cheese in the area. But I didn’t buy cheese as I was already over budget but not under fed or not satisfied. It was a treat myself lunch but very delicious. This place is a nice bistro on University in summer they have outdoor seating. Usually I just get coffee……but some mid day fine dining was fun and chased away some of my winter won’t ever end stress.

Holy! First time ever at this place. The air and environment was pretty casual, but food implies fine dining and an intimate experience. Food was flavourful and delicious. The gnocchi melted in our mouth. I couldn’t get the pop overs eaten fast enough. Service was great. Em and the counter guy were very attentive to us and very welcoming. I will 100% be going back. :3

The popovers were delicious! The soup of the day (creamy asparagus and broccoli) was also excellent! Our server was friendly but not overbearing. The halibut was overdone (one shouldn’t need a knife for it), and the bison was very good but needed a sauce because of how lean it is (great flavor, though) We will go back for sure.

Our night at Luna was one of those rare occasions where you thoroughly enjoy every single thing you try. Well, I wasn’t inclined to the beet salad because I knew I didn’t like beets before and gave it a whirl anyways, but the rest of my party demolished it quite quickly. So besides that- it was all a hit.

Out here on business and was recommended this location. Small scratch made restaurant with an emphasis on weird. I had the zucchini carbonara with mushroom bacon. I literally ordered this due to that last fact. It was divine, the zucchini noodles still had a bit of crunch, the mushroom bacon was obscenely close to the real thing and the duck egg made it decadent. Also had the chocolate tort with berries and white espresso ice cream ala mode, sinfully rich and just wonderful.

We had yummy Sassy Pineapple margaritas, one and done for me! A grownup drink. Popovers, olives, smoky crispy potatoes, rare ribeye, crunchy on the outside/soft on the inside popovers. Thank you, serving staff, for taking care of us tonight, as we came in from torrential rain.
