I ordered the Fajitas; the meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and sizzling hot. It was a delicious and satisfying main course.
My friends were equally impressed with their choices. They loved the Enchiladas and raved about the fresh, flavorful Tuna Tartar. A special mention must go to the homemade tortillas. It’s small details like these that elevate the meal and showcase the kitchen’s dedication to quality.
Beyond the food, the service was perfect. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure our entire experience was smooth and enjoyable.
The tacos were delicious with their skirt steak. It was well seasoned, cooked to my taste, and had great side of rice and beans. We ordered quest and corn for appetizers which were delectible as well.
Their margaritas were refreshing and cold, which was pleasant on a warm day. Their outdoor patio upstairs was excellent to enjoy with comfortable chairs that were relaxing to recline, with a good view from multiple angles of their tv’s for a sports bar. This was pleasant for lunch, and we will be returning on our next trip to Louisiana!
If you are truly a foodie, go ahead and skip this place. El paso serves more authentic food than this. We just spent WAY too much on the worst meal I’ve had in forever. It had decent reviews and we were working nearby so we decided to give it a try.
The pineapple mango salsa was lame, literally cut up fruit (about $2 worth for way too much) salsa tastes like beans. Food is cooked in what tastes like soybean oil. Shrimp in fajitas tasted like twice frozen seafood. The chili rellno had rice and corn, barely a spec of cheese. Lamb was covered in tendons, making it difficult to eat and broccoli had NO FLAVOR. Gaucomole was average…I guess maybe if you’re drinking margaritas all day, this food may taste good, but I am so disappointed and now still hungry. Tea tastes like it just came out of the soda machine. If you like fresh food, drive right by this… to anywhere else.
Staff was nice- quick and friendly. Restaurant looked clean and inviting.
I came on a Saturday around 10:30pm, and the restaurant was not busy. I initially briefly sat at the downstairs bar, but no one acknowledged me despite staff walking past multiple times.
Hoping for better service, I went upstairs and sat at the bar. Someone greeted me briefly from across the bar but never came over. I then moved to a table, thinking that might help. While seated there for about 10–12 minutes, three staff members made eye contact with me and walked by several times without checking in.
Eventually, I returned to the bar and asked whether it was better to sit at the bar or at a table. The bartender said I could sit anywhere. When I explained that I had been waiting at a table, she responded, “Oh, you were?” To be fair, she was serving guests and did apologize, but other staff (including the person who initially greeted me) had clearly seen me.
At that point, the experience was already spoiled, so I decided to leave. Disappointing overall, as I never got the chance to try the food due to the lack of service. I was wearing a brown jacket with black attire underneath, so I do urge the manager or whoever checks the reviews to verify this story.
