I ordered the special flat pasta with lobster. I had to pay $39 for soggy salty lobster flat pasta wuth out any lobster The servers dress like they are bikers and know nothing about the food. The rest of the food was ok nothing special. Best thing was the Burrata that wasn’t cooked. Very low quality food and not as described. Wasn’t worth making a fuss or not getting any because they know what they are serving. Very tight seating with small tables. No table cloths or place mats. Best thing about Luna is the BYOB.

Came here for my works’ holiday dinner and whoa! Can’t believe I’ve never been here before. I got the octopus app and squid ink pasta and both were outrageously delicious. Oh, and the pasta? Homemade, melt in your mouth. Can’t wait to go again!

We had an amazing experience here! The food was amazing and the service was awesome. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a beautiful balance of flavor. The pasta had rich and complex flavors but wasn’t heavy. Will absolutely be back!

When you dine at Luna, you are immediately pampered and will have an amazing dining experience. The attentive wait staff all work together while the menu choices are all about fresh and seasonally picked by their lovely owners. The freshest tasting, with delicate flavors abound! Try the mussels, they are to die for! The fresh burrata is creamy and so tasty with the prosciutto and thinly sliced zucchini! Amazing! The fresh and tender octopus is to die for with a delicate almond sauce. Subtle and different. Arugula salad with fresh apple and pear and bits of fig, so yummy, and we are just starting out! The creamy pasta with peas, you have to try is mouth watering, not heavy, light and creamy delicious. Now onto the meat courses. The veal chop and pork chop. Both so amazing! The butcher this comes from is obviously top tier and it shows. The portion is shareable, or you can indulge! The crispy outer edges were like candy on the veal and cooked to perfection with juicy and mouth watering bites. The pork chop is amazing too, with a lemony sauce and broccolini and polenta. Each bite was pink and cooked perfectly and finished off like a lolly pop, both meat dishes are well worth the price and experience. Now for homemade tiramisu, not overpowering kahlua rum, just right coffee flavor, just amazing. And pistachio gelato was such a treat. Hands down better than any stand in line ice cream! Please enjoy, this place is amazing and should be a regular visit!

We had some of the best Italian here that we’ve had in such a long time. Their pasta is incredible. Get one of their desserts! We had a poached pear dessert that blew us away. They didn’t rush us at any point during the meal- You could tell they just wanted everyone to get cozy, enjoy their meals, and have an enjoyable experience. The BYOB factor is incredible. We are coming back & recommending this spot to anyone who will listen!

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Most of the food I tried here was delicious and I love that it’s BYOB. The pear desert felt like it was missing something or could’ve been more flavorful.

I booked this restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. This is both of our first time here. Upon arrival, manager Dana was pleasant but our server Tony was extremely dismissive, discriminatory, and rude. We ordered 5 items (2 appetizers and 3 entrees) to which his response was “that’s a lot of food”. Puzzled by his response, I replied “yes it is my girlfriend’s birthday, but we can pack our leftovers to go” (if we had any remaining food). Our 2 appetizers arrived at the same time. We were pleased with our food. Our 1st entree arrived, approx ~10 min of us eating our entree, our server Tony immediately asks if this needs to be packed up. My girlfriend responds “no we’re still working on this”. Another 30-40 min goes by and our remaining items have not come out. I ask our server to check on this, he immediately becomes defensive and states “I was waiting for you to finish the pasta”, okay not an issue but I still asked if we can get our other entrees. He continues to become passive aggressive telling us that it falls on us to tell him when we want our food – essentially stating we’re at fault for why our food was not cooked yet. We let him know we’re ready for our food as we have been the last hour. He continued to give us attitude and at this point we had a sour taste and would rather end our dinner here. I speak with the manager Dana letting her know we’d like to wrap up our dinner. Unfortunately she had double downed and told us that “Italian restaurants release orders one at a time – “appetizer, entree, dessert. We do not bring all dishes out unless you’d like us to”. Hmm okay? If this was the case, how come both of our appetizers arrived simultaneously and our first entree arrived first out of our three entrees. By her logic, wouldn’t all of the entrees arrive? She tries to mediate but at this point we are absolutely ready to leave. She assured us that she can give us one of our entrees to go since it has already been cooked and the kitchen will throw it out anyways. We agree, pay for our dinner, I still tipped 25% bc overall we were happy with the food, but upon leaving we realized Tony had half hazardly packed our leftovers WITHOUT the entree that Dana had promised we’d still receive. Overall this experience was horrible as first timers especially on an event like a birthday. We would never recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money here if you want to be treated like you’re unworthy of a decent dining experience.

Luna is a charming and intimate Italian BYOB that comes SO close to nailing it. I like coming here for a cozy and romantic date and am excited to continue doing so, and while many parts of the experience are wonderful there are definitely a few oddities that could bring the dinner down.
If I were only judging Luna on its pasta dishes, this would be the easiest 5-star review ever. Every dish has been richly flavorful, cozy, and just with enough intrigue to elevate it above basic more standard pasta dishes. There is a great variety of quality pasta dishes, from seafood to lamb and there’s almost certainly at least one you’ll be excited to order when you go. There are also rotating specials that the waiter will let the table know about, and we’ve had positive experiences there as well. We’ve only ever ordered off the “entrees” section once and it was solid enough, but my recommendation has to be for the pastas.
The appetizers and sides on the other hand are a bit of a mixed bag, to say the least. On the positive, the calamari app was exquisite with an incredibly flavorful and spicy/briny tomato sauce. On the other hand, the “roasted” beets were almost comical- they were slices of canned beets (uncooked) sprinkled with feta and drizzled with balsamic… I could have made that at home in maybe 30 seconds for the same result. We also ordered a side of asparagus which for $10 we would have hoped had had any salt or flavoring, but it was not impressive. I also have to comment on the hilarious free bread at the start of each meal. It’s kind of just 8 bite size cubes of normal bread with some olive oil and it’s odd enough and small enough to make me question why they bring it at all.
The interior is cute and cozy- it’s a small and narrow space with elegant decorations and modern paintings that I think succeeds in curating a familiar and pleasant atmosphere while still remaining upscale and not pretentious. That said, it is a smaller space and as a result we have been sat uncomfortably close to other tables on multiple occasions. It’s alright, but maybe something to be aware of if you are sensitive to having less personal space. The service is also kind of interesting- it’s good enough, but a bit of an odd and small crew that doesn’t feel quite as professional as nicer restaurants, but it’s fine.
Overall, I do recommend Luna BYOB! Great pasta, cozy vibes, and it being a BYO is a big plus! Just be cautious with some of the apps and sides.
