Lunch on a Saturday. The service was great, the wait time was reasonable, and the food was excellent. Food, service, and atmosphere were all well priced for this restaurant. My children wanted flan for dessert, but unfortunately the waiter came back and apologized that they had run out. He immediately offered three complimentary servings of ice cream for my children. Very well handled. I tipped extra because we felt valued, and we will definitely be coming back again.

The tiny drink pictured is called the Grinch and it costs $15, it tasted good but not worth the price. We had the ceviche and fish tacos. I could eat the ceviche all day!! The tacos were delicious too. It took ten minutes before our waiter came to our table even with very few customers. It’s a nice place for date night.

Atmosphere: Loved all the real plants and the decor.
Food: We ordered the ceviche, shrimp taco gobernador, and chicken pesto sandwich. The ceviche was good and I would order it again, the tacos were very flavorful and had the right spice, black beans were good but could have had a touch more salt and the rice was good, my husband said the chicken sandwich was delicious but we could not find the pesto in the sandwich.
Drinks: Triple berry Hibiscus Agua fresco and Coconut Horchata. Both fire and must try.
Service: Great! Super friendly.
Definitely would go back again.

The food and drinks were really good! We order the smash burger and the meat was perfectly cooked, we loved the fries and the Spicy marinara cremosa pasta. We also order a couple drinks that cannot remember the name of it but the coconut horchata mocktail was amazing, definitely order it if you like horchata. The service was good, nothing special.

The appetizer ceviche was 10/10 and different from any other ceviche I’ve had. The flavor was perfect. The appetizer fries were good too, reminded me of an upgraded animal fry…..I had the tempura shrimp tacos. Flavor was great just a little too battered for me…Overall loved it and will be back soon.

Thinking of where to have lunch or dinner with family and friends in downtown Bakersfield? Treat yourself and try this one. Then thank me later. I love places where they have short menus and where you could pick almost anything in the menu and be surprised with good food to make you happy. Nice cozy place, good chill music, friendly servers with excellent food and good price to go with it. I included photos all the food we had. Enjoy.

Wow! The food is very delicious! The decor is stunning. It was cold inside the restaurant. They also had some construction going on. The food was very good and quality was on point. They are busy during lunch hour. Only one waiter was on duty. He was doing his best.

We came in for lunch today. We were immediately greeted and sat at our table.
I ordered the Carnitas enchiladas. They came out displayed beautifully. The enchiladas as beautiful as they were did not meet expectations. The Carnitas was kind of boring. They lacked flavor. And I kept waiting for it to taste like Carnitas, but they never did.
My friend ordered the Seabass with mussels. He said it was very good but a little bit salty.
We definitely will come back again. I think this was just a bad day.
