July 2025 – Fried avocado with crawfish was DELICIOUS!!! Hot dip of artichoke & spinach with fresh chips was awesome too. Corn & crab bisque were also great. Believe it or not, we had a REAL large slice of lemon for the tea.
The tea was great, too. Caitlin, our waitress was perfect, too. Even had leftovers to bring home.
Visit on 4-16-2025. Spinach & artichoke dip was the best ever! Crab & corn bisque was delicious, too. The petite Apollo was 8 large fried shrimp with slices of avocado and a creamy sauce, OH MY GOSH! DELICIOUS –
Tea is still the best in town. Waitress Morgan was A+ on everything. Great job, Dave, as always.

This is a relative new place, they still have some kinks, and service issues to iron out. The food was incredible, the wait staff(Great Job Josh!) were polite, friendly, and communicative.
The kitchen was having some trouble when we were there, and the over all atmosphere was great if the indoor temp was colder than outside.
Definely will be going back to give it another chance as the food and wait staff were so good.

I think it’s to each their own here. They have a lovely bar and friendly wait staff! The spinach dip wasn’t as great as I initially thought it would be, the crab dip had more flavor. The shrimp appetizer was delicious, the avocado slices were a nice touch. Sandwiches were decent, we got the Venus. Overall great atmosphere, probably the best place for a wind down after work in the area because the specialty drinks were definitely the cherry on top.

First time trying out Luna’s. The food was delicious! Started off with the fried pickles. I’ve eaten fried pickles at lots of restaurants, but none like Luna’s! They were stellar! I got a turkey burger, on wheat sour dough. I had goat cheese added, and switched out regular fries for the sweet potato waffle fries. All of it was excellent and cooked perfectly! My husband had Redfish Ian. I had a few bites of his and will be back to get that or something else ❣️ Definitely well worth the trip from Orange, Texas.

As a tourist this place was absolutely awful! I have never been so disappointed in service, and the food. We finished our entire meal without a drink, our server was not attentive at all. Food came out cold, under cooked, and tasted like a salt lick brick for a cow. Would not recommend to anyone! It was also extremely cold in there to be able to enjoy the atmosphere.

Had dinner here on a Sunday evening. so thankful for a places open on Sunday. My server was Addie excellent. She was friendly, fast, and helpful. We ordered the artichoke dip and stuff fried avocado appetizers. I had the corn and crab bisque. All outstanding. My husband had the plutos fire fried chicken wrap.

*As a Lake Charles newbie, finding the restaurant was a tiny bit challenging, but after ditching Google Maps, I figured it our myself …but it took extra (a tiny bit frustrating) unnecessary time.
*While the restaurant address is on Nelson Rd, it does not face Nelson. The entrance and restaurant front face the back shopping area and lot.
*I suggest Luna’s puts a noticeable sign out on Nelson Rd to help new patrons find it more readily and to draw in street traffic.
Again– An overall, wonderful experience.

Same great quality food, and I actually like the atmosphere here better than the downtown location. This new location is 5 minutes from my house and no problem trying to park. They hit a homerun with this location. I’ve always loved Luna’s and stopped going as much because of the inconvenience of parking downtown, I will definitely be visiting this new location frequently! The service was a little slower than I am used to, but growing pains are to be expected. Update…. Still Amazing!!
