Lumsum Thai Cuisine ️ Lumsum isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a family story born from a love of cooking and sharing meals. It started at our family table, with authentic E-san recipes passed down from our mother’s hands. We opened Lumsum to share real Thai E-san food – bold, comforting, and full of heart. Every dish is crafted with the same care and passion our mother put into cooking for us. For us, food is connection, tradition, and love passed down through generations. Every plate at Lumsum tells a story of family, heritage, and joy, and every guest becomes part of it. Lumsum – Thai Cuisine From our mother’s recipes, made with heart, served to you We love you, Mommy

Reviews
The food was outstanding. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—slightly sweet, slightly tangy, and full of flavor. The Green Curry was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, We also tried the Tom Yum soup, which had a bold, aromatic flavor that was both comforting and exciting. To finish, Khao Tom Mat was absolutely delicious.
The service was attentive and friendly throughout. The staff checked on us regularly and made sure everything was to our liking without being intrusive.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Delicious food, welcoming service, and a lovely atmosphere—I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine.
The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire visit. It’s a great spot for family, friends, or a casual dinner. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality Thai food and a pleasant dining experience.
Also, apparently they play a live traditional instrument on the weekends so that was nice to have in the background while we ate
Now to the negatives, I dont like to leave bad reviews, but chef should know.
Not impressed with drunken noodles – bland, no color, just spicy. Grilled pork neck portions was terrible, cut way too thin and mostly fat. Sticky rice was hard, not fresh.
I am Laotian and eat Thai/Lao food on the regular. I was really disappointed in 2 out of 3 of the dishes we ordered. I will say that they hit it on the spice level, but dishes fell short. I drove over 45 minutes to try them out based on IG posts and bc I support thai esan restaurants, but we need to do better please.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was built with intention. The ambiance is warm, tasteful, and inviting without trying too hard. It feels intimate but elevated. The kind of place you settle into and don’t want to rush out of.
And then the food shows up. Authentic. Bold. Layered. The kind of depth of flavor that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod. Every dish tastes like it came straight out of the South Islands of Thailand; not adapted, not diluted. The balance of spice, citrus, herbs, and richness is dialed in perfectly. You can tell the chef isn’t just cooking…he cares.
Icethani, the owner, is the kind of host every restaurant wishes they had. Gracious. Attentive. Genuine. She makes you feel like you’re not just a customer, you’re a guest in her home. And knowing her partner is the chef makes it even more special. You can feel the heart behind the food.
I’ve eaten Thai all over the Valley. This is, without question, the best Thai food in the greater Phoenix region. If you’re debating where to go — stop debating. Go…
