Some of the best nachos ever! I will not get nachos that have runny cheese sauce. The cheese needs to be shredded and baked to be melted. Theses were perfect! Went with another couple. My wife had the prime rib, and friend had the ribs. They both said they were good. Our waiter was brand new but very nice and tried hard. Places have such a hard time finding help, so please be patient.

Great Friday fish fry with multiple bottoms from fried perch to baked cod, baked potato or German potato salad. Spotted Cow on draft and nice views. Waitresses really husting to make up for the post pandemic labor shortage. And prices for a resort town in the inflation era were reasonable.

Second time here and won’t be back. Server never came to check on us to find out that my very obviously burnt patty melt was not good. Besides being burnt, it was completely void of seasoning, as was my husband’s Shrimp Alfredo. When told about the Tuesday’s Alfredo special, a choice of chicken or shrimp was given (no mention of the $4.75 for chicken or $9.95 upcharge), so $23.90 for 6 fishy smelling shrimp and flavorless fettuccine Alfredo. I appreciate the bartender taking my meal off our tab when he finally asked about the food.
I should have known better to not come back after the first time getting chicken fried steak with boxed mashed potatoes and canned green beans.
At least the bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. It would be a good place to go for drinks still, I suppose.

We had a really fun end of day here after a long day on snowmobiles. Bar tender was cool – good services. Awesome wrap around bar. Lots of TV’s so, probably a good spot to watch a packer/brewer game.

This was a great stop! Good variety of food choices, excellent food, awesome drinks, and they have a couple arcade like games that the kids loved. The chicken pot pie, perch BLT, and open faced prime sandwich were delicious. They even serve a large selection of mock tails!

We ordered a pepperoni pizza, but it clearly had something else going on. I showed the waitress what looked to be sausage (tasted awful). Her reply, “Maybe he started making the wrong pizza.” Then she walked away. So we tried to eat another piece, which tasted like a plastic type flavor. Next piece tasted like strange spice. Needless to say, that was the final bite. The waitress asked if we wanted a box. I said, “Actually that was the worst pizza I ever had.” She said, “Well, it looks you ate it.” Which was very untrue. No one orders a 12” pizza and only has a couple little squares missing. She should have checked the napkins. We have eaten pizza at this location before. However, it will be a very long time before we are back, if ever. One thing to have terrible food, but another thing to put it back on the customer.

Very disappointed with entire dining experience. We put in our drink and food order at the same time and ended up waiting over 20 minutes just for our drinks. Right after we received our drinks the food came out and it was not impressive. The chicken sandwich we ordered was tough and rubbery. It was so bad we ended up ordering something else off the menu. My daughter’s BLT had raw bacon on it. When the check came they charged us for the chicken sandwich that was inedible and $5 for the meal we ordered to replace it. Very poor customer service!! Currently, my other child is displaying signs of food poisoning. She ordered a cheeseburger with bacon. Needless to say we will not be heading back.

I called at 9:04 pm on a Saturday night to see if they 1. Still had prime rib 2. Would still serve us. Their answer? “As long as you place your order before 9:30.” They weren’t kidding! We walked into a single musician singing great music and sat at the bar. They took our order, served us and were great about it. I’m not proud to be that guy that orders last minute (I owned a bar, yes, I know better, haha), but we appreciate a place that stands up to their hours… and our wait staff earned the 30% tip! It was great bar meets supper club food, with quite a few homemade items. The prime was a SLAB and cooked correctly, handcut chips with homemade cream cheese French onion sip was fantastic. Pictured is the sweet potato fries option. Excited to go back and try the wings and homemade chicken pot pie! And can’t argue with the northern WI bar vibe, complete with a rotating Hamm’s sign!
P.S. they have the GOOD cherries for drinks!

road trip
Pizza was great as always. The service was definitely a bit off on non busy Tuesday night at 8pm. We waited 20 minutes for the drink special old fashioned, got one appetizer before the drinks and the other came several minutes later?
