Hours & Menu are at LumpiaXpress dot com. We serve fresh made to order Pacific Island meals to include Lumpia, Boba Drinks (Bubble Tea), Yakisoba, Pancit, Musubi, Coconut Rice Cakes and White Rice. We also carry many Asian-Pacific packaged foods, drinks and snacks. We love to accept online orders and to create larger orders for special events. Please give us a couple of days advance notice for those extra-large orders. Please be sure to check our website for our complete menu and hours. The hours we are open change weekly, so be sure to look before trying to order online.

The super kind women who gave us the food was amazing. We are passing through and she offered us water and was so nice. The food was even better. We were looking for something lighter but filling and this hit the spot. The Lumpia’s are to die for. I can not recommend stopping here more.
Edit: we also got the musubi, we saved it until the next day when we were on the road… BEST MUSUBI EVER. even a day later, the rice was still soft and perfect. The spam was amazing. Not too salty like spam usually is. I don’t know when I’ll be passing through again but I will drive out of my way to get this food again

Great food from some very friendly people! Please note this is take out only. No facilities for dine in. Try their pancit and yakisoba. Its very good. The coconut rice cake is absolutely phenomenal! Any time we are in Mountain Home we will visit.

First time at this location while passing through during a trip home from camping. Weren’t sure what we were looking for and were a little confused. While parked out front, looking at their website, we heard a call from the owner, who was just inside behind a door screen. This is definitely a take away restaurant! Food is excellent and the owner was very nice. We ate in our RV just in front, and it was perfect. Great option to grab on the way by MH. Take a chance on getting way from the regular old stops on the freeway and check out downtown!

Update, finally had the chance to try again and was not disappointed. In fact it was better than I expected. It takes a lot for food to really impress me because I know how to cook. And this food made my eyes roll back in my head. The pansit was delicious, the lumpia was phenomenal, the rice was nothing short of amazing with lime drizzled over it and the rice coconut cake was incredible. However I did find that I’m not a fan of Boba

Decided to try this restaurant as I’m passing through Mountain Home and the Google maps guide shows hours from 10:00 a.m. to 8:p.m. Wednesdays. Also says check hours on website which I did. Drive here and find out if it’s pickup only, tried to place an order at 5:30 p.m. and it said our store is currently not accepting orders. Very disappointing. I’ll give them one more chance at a later date.

The tapioca balls in my boba tea were hard in the middle/undercooked. Lumpia was okay but too salty. They do not include soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce with the meals like in the pictures on the website. $0.10 per sauce. I tried the LX special and it wasn’t very good. Not terrible but I won’t be eating here again. The customer service was friendly and they gave me candy for Halloween. The food was just disappointing.

On 9/17/20, I went to a restaurant in Mountain Home for dinner. Afterwards, we stopped at Lumpia Xpress. I would have liked to have picked up some lumpia for the next day, but the owner made a comment that discouraged me from doing so, noting that they were closing in 30 minutes. So I bought a couple of baked items instead. I purchased Bump Cookies ($2.50) and two Coconut Rice Flour Cakes ($4).
The Bump cookies are also known as Paciencia or Filipino meringue cookies. I thought the flavor was OK but they seemed a little dry. I have had a cookie similar to this in the past but I liked the flavor and texture better.
The Coconut Rice Flour Cake Is also known as Bibingka or Filipino Coconut Rice Cake. The photo is deceiving because the actual cake is the size of a small muffin. I have had cake similar to this in the past. There was just something a little off about the flavor of this one for me. If you would like to try a great version of this cake, I would recommend the Trader Joe’s Mochi cake mix. It also uses sweet rice flour which gives it a chewy, almost bouncy texture. The cake mix includes coconut milk powder which gives it a similar coconut flavor.

Note that originally I bent over backwards to try to give this business a three star review by basing it on my friends perception of these two cookies. But after the negative comments that the business owner directed towards me, I am editing my review to tell you what I really think of it. Needless to say, I will not be back. If you are a business owner, you need to learn how to accept constructive feedback, as well as recognize when someone is being overly generous in their rating of your business.
