What a great place!
The food was delicious. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was so yummy! My family enjoyed their food as well ( chicken tender basket and biscuit and gravy).
Kitchen staff were flexible with our order change requests and our server Harley was fantastic!

The Axxe burger was just the best barbecue style burger I’ve ever had! Our extended family of 8 arrived at Lumberjacks Cafe about 15 minutes before the Sunday afternoon lunch crowd and were able to get a table immediately. There were about 8 tables of various capacities inside and a large covered porch full of picnic tables outside. The tables were covered with vinyl tablecloths & had normal diner chairs. Very casual. Lumberjacks Cafe isn’t a huge place but it’s obviously loved by locals and, judging from our experience, with good reason. The menu was a pretty good size for a smaller place and had a large variety of options. The burgers & sandwiches don’t come with sides, and my burger was so filling that I’m glad I opted not to get one. The nachos weren’t a huge hit with one member of our party (mainly just cheese & chips) but the other 7 all loved what they got. The servers and kitchen had their hands full but were still attentive & very friendly. We waited a little bit for food but definitely not that long for a party of 8 suddenly descending on a small place. I’d stop here again in a heartbeat!

Quick little stop off of the main highway, delicious food that tastes like you’re at your grandmas house! The Philly cheese steak and fries were both good, and the ranch was good as well. Greens were delicious and chicken tenders were hand breaded. Service was good and our waitress was very sweet and attentive! If we lived closer I could see it being a frequent stop!!

We had fried pickles – best I ever had. French fries were crisp and amazing. I had the philly steak and cheese quesadilla. It was delicious. My daughters got chicken strips and the Jack burger. They both said their food was great.

Good breakfast! A little on the high side but it taste like home cooked breakfast and its out in the middle of nowhere! We really enjoyed it. You get a pretty good amount of food also.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to stay and dine. We have a very small service dog – 6lbs, very well trained, had his service animal vest on, trained for detecting seizures…..the staff said we could sit outside and eat, in 40° weather. The dog can’t be in the restaurant. That’s against the law #1/ plus, we’ve NEVER been turned away from ANY restaurant. We were traveling from Florida back to Kansas City. Wouldn’t recommend this place and they’re lack of knowledge of the law and compassion for customers in this situation.

Showed up hungry as a bear and staff handled it like pros. Cheeseburger and onionrings on point! Flaver, serving size, presentation…Lumberjacks covered all the bases. Highly recommend for a flavorful fulfilling meal
