Lumadue’s Restaurant & Catering is a family-owned Italian restaurant in Shermans Dale, PA, proudly serving homemade comfort food to Central Pennsylvania. Founded by Bill and Shannon Lumadue, our journey began with The Italian Job food truck in October 2019 and grew into a full-service restaurant and catering business focused on quality and community. We offer classic Italian favorites, rotating specials, dine-in and takeout, plus full-service catering for weddings, parties, and corporate events throughout Perry County, Carlisle, and surrounding areas. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and friendly service are at the heart of everything we do.

Lumadue’s is the perfect blend of homemade food in a semi-formal casual atmosphere.
All the dishes have that chef’s kiss; you can taste the love that’s poured into them. The host, servers, and owners are all very personable which makes this place feel at home. This type of restaurant was long overdue in Perry County and they hit the mark.
Came for Pasta Night; all of the food was remarkable. Highly recommend Lumadue’s!! 10/10

Tonight was pasta night $20.00 per person. We had the linguine with alfredo sauce and the gnocchi with marinara sauce. Homemade rolls. Salad. Plus dessert. It was delicious. Service was excellent. We will definitely go back. If you love Italian food this restaurant is a must try.

A group of friends and I were excited to try a new place in Perry County that I believed to have good Italian food. We made a reservation for 5:30 and were seated at 5:45. A few minutes after that, the owner came over and spoke to my friend who made the reservation and said I’m not sure if I told you when you made the reservation or not but we’re going to need this table by 7 o’clock. I said that I suggest we stop talking and order some food because that only gave us an hour and 15 minutes to eat. Most restaurants realize that the average table turnaround time is approximately two hours. We ordered our food and it was gravely disappointing. My food was not hot. It was room temperature and the taste was mediocre at best. I know my one friends food was cold, actually no one‘s food was piping hot. I’ve had much better food in pizza shop restaurants and found the place terribly disappointing. In the owner‘s defense, she did come over and say that they would find a place for the other table because there was not time for us to get out of there in that short amount of time we were given to eat, which was to me inexcusable. There were eight of us we all had a meal (simple pastas) and there were three appetizers and no alcohol. We had 4 desserts and of course no espresso. They do not serve espresso. Our bill including tip was $320. Extremely up market for the location and the mediocre food. Not sure what the issue is there, but I won’t go back to eat there. I do not recommend this place.

We had a reservation at 7:00 when we got seated at 7:15 we got our drinks and bread almost right away. I got the gnocchi and alfredo. It was way too yummy. It was my birthday so I got a free normal sized pota crème I think it’s spelled. That was also delicious.

First visit to Lumadue’s and it didn’t disappoint. We had the in-house homemade linguine with sausage and meatballs. The atmosphere is informal, but quaint and welcoming. The desserts were amazing…my favorite is the Cassata cake. Oh, did I mention it’s BYOB. Can’t wait to go again!
