My Life Between Sips
Delicioso! I had steak street tacos and my husband had carnitas, we loved and ate it all. The salsa was great and so the guac. Ohhh! And the aguas frescas…truly authentic. The place was clean and the ambiance was pleasant. Perfect stop on our road trip.

My partner and I accidentally stumbled upon this little Mexican spot, and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was super cute — lots of fun skeleton décor that really gave the place personality. Service was fast and friendly, and bonus points for having Pepsi products!
The food presentation was absolutely beautiful, and everything we tried was flavorful and genuinely delicious. The only downside was that the bathrooms could use a little work, but aside from that, everything was great. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!

Good food prepared quickly and good prices for lunch specials.
Our group of 4 stopped in for lunch at about 12:30 on a Thursday afternoon in August 2025. It’s just East of Tallahassee – a good spot to stop and avoid some of the congestion in town.
We sat down without a wait and ordered some queso as we looked over the menu.
There were a lot of great options wirh some traditional Mexican dishes on the lunch menu. The food was prepared quickly and we enjoyed our meal.
This place is worth visiting if you’re looking for a quick lunch before heading into Tallahassee.

4th time ordering delivery from Door Dash. This will be our last order. Food has been great until tonight. I would not have posted this had their website had any contact info other than phone. Attempted to call twice around 6:30PM to discuss issues. No answer, only voice mail. Website has no other contact info (social media icons do not work, no message box, no email.)
Delivery arrived on time. Garlic Shrimp had poured out in the bottom of the bag and all over the closed containers of the other food and was able to work down into both orders of chicken soft tacos making both soggy but one order was soaked. The garlic Shrimp tasted like they had used a garlic clove or two that was brown and had that moldy earthy smell to it. The fajitas were awful. The steak, chicken and shrimp tasted like they were boiled in water and all the veggies tasted boiled too and were the same consistency. It was almost like Fajita Fondue or soup. The portion was very small. I feel zi could have gotten better food and larger portions from a food court or gas station somewhere. The worst was the tortillas that came with it. Who eats Fajitas on corn tortillas? You cant roll a stuffed corn tortilla well at all. The one order of tacos that were not totally soaked would have been great as usual but they still had that bad garlic taste and were a little soft due to the liquid that spilled into them.

The taco was underwhelming, the sopes was good but a little soggy. The hate was good but not the best quality.

Stopped in on our trip back through Tallahassee. What a surprise finding this place – This place had absolutely delicious food! Warm chips, great salsa, crispy taquitos, flavorful grilled jalapeños, creamy beans, and the carnitas were incredible! Highly recommend! We will be back on our next trip through Tally.

In town for a few days and wanted to try some different spots and was not disappointed with this one!!! Greeted when I walked in the door. Served hot tortilla chips and salsa and took my drink order. Was back shortly to get my food order. Got the chicken fajitas (no beans). When I say it was good, it was GOOD!!! The peppers, onions and tomatoes were cooked perfectly too.

The food was good and a nice portion as well. Service goes a very long way for me and theirs could have been better. The woman at the front barely spoke to me much less look at me. She dropped the food on table and walked away, no words and no utensils.

I stopped by and ordered the asada fries. They were okay, but not particularly memorable. The fries were slightly undercooked and lacked seasoning, and the steak had a flavor that seemed mixed with chorizo, which wasn’t quite what I expected. The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming—it felt more like a repurposed sports bar than a traditional Mexican restaurant. The bathrooms could also use some attention, with a broken soap dispenser, a damaged trash can lid, and limited toilet paper. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t stand out either. I’d consider giving them another try, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
