Stopped in while traveling across country mostly due to the good reviews. Even better than we expected. Ordered 2 meat lovers breakfast burritos and were given some chilli’s to try on our trip when the ordered was delivered. Super food and staff. Next time we’re passing through we’re stopping here to eat.

*I went back in person 08/19 after a staff member offered in response to this review to give a full refund, the refund was issued, I thanked them for making that part right. I was asked in writing to address my concerns in person with them however, there was no offer or interest by any of the staff to discuss my concerns nor possibly gain feedback to aid them towards improving the problems. Then they wrote below that they were okay if I didn’t come back in the future. That type of undue attitude is exactly what’s going to continue to cost them their business. There are other businesses that have taken that same attitude and eventually that doesn’t prevail. That edited response certainly does not make me feel but this business truly wants to change things.*
It wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t great either. For all the high reviews this place has, I was expecting way better. However I didn’t read all of the lower reviews which are identical in complaints sadly. There have been the same types of problems( lack of flavor, low quality food) with the business for a couple of years now.
We tried them for the first time today. I spent $34 total and for the quality and quantity of food you receive, it’s not worth the price. The cashier was very friendly and someone else brought the food to our car in a timely manner. Tere’s no place to eat inside or outside which makes it pretty much to go.
I ordered the 3-taco meal and added an extra taco on so I could try one of each kind, (chicken, brisket, carne asada, and ground beef). I requested green chile sauce on the side for my tacos instead of salsa. The meals came with a soda can or small water bottle, a small amount of potatoes and beans. My son ordered the 3-taco meal (ground beef) and salsa that comes with it. We also ordered a small bag of their tricolored kettle corn which was $5. The first thing that I noticed about the meal is that it was not hot when it came out. They did throw in a couple of napkins and two forks and one spoon. They gave the smallest possible amount of meat that they could in the tacos along with a couple of pieces of lettuce and a little sprinkle of cheese. The green chile sauce didn’t even have green chile in it! This sauce was some sort of watery sauce-like substance that had no flavor and nor any heat. This is NEW MEXICO! I expect the Chile Capitol of the world to at least have medium hot chile when serving it with any food, but ESPECIALLY tacos! The tacos had no flavor to them at all. The same goes with the potatoes and the beans. There was a complete lack of flavor and seasoning, and the potatoes were very bland and mushy. The chicken tasted identical to canned chicken and seemed to have the same consistency as canned chicken. My son’s meal was pretty much the same thing. The kettle corn was ok but nothing to rave about.
I’m so disappointed in what we experienced with the food here. I’m an extremely experienced cook and baker so I have high standards, but I also really love food and believe it should be cooked with passion. I also give quite a bit of my food away for free and I use high-quality ingredients and I don’t skimp on portions. Therefore, businesses should have at least some quality of high standards when cooking food for others to purchase. I hope that these folks immediately start working to make some major improvements because there are quite a few areas of their business that needs it, including learning how to have passion for what they do, without that the food comes out exactly the way it is: bland and disappointing. Not being mean here either, I just tell it like it is straight up. The East Mountains and surrounding areas are seriously lacking the variety of good places to eat that used to exist. These businesses have no reason not to provide it to their communities.

This is an awesome little gem off the highway. The bacon breakfast burrito was quite good (I wish it had a little sauce, but it was pretty delicious). The chicken sandwich was awesome, but the tacos were bland. The owner is super nice! I recommend this place!

I had a great Christmas Sausage Breakfast Burrito this morning while a trip on I40. The shop is a very small and local. It wasn’t exactly fast food but very good. The lady was very friendly and helpful.

Great inexpensive food. One draw back, but minor. It is only take only.
But plenty parking outside to eat and watch the world zoom past.

This is our favorite breakfast place when we head east early in the morning on I-40 from the Albuquerque area. It is in Moriarty and a quick stop off the highway. We usually get the “Trucker” breakfast burrito, it is delicious and large enough that we split one. Call about 10-15 minutes ahead of time and it will be waiting for you when you get there.

Five stars all around except atmosphere gets 3 stars, it’s basically a carry-out place on Rt 66 so the “Atmosphere” is basically wherever you carry it out to.

That are a couple truck-sized potholes in the parking lot, just be aware, easy to avoid them if you pay attention.

I found out they are a Family Owned Business Here.

I sent a message about having semi truck parking? They Do! Just enter @ the Circle K end if coming off of the pilot exit. If coming up 66 turn in by the Dollar General end.

I had the Tigers Tacos.
WHOEVER COOKED THE BRISKET…KNOWS HOW TO COOK IT WITHOUT DRYING OUT THE MEAT! Gave you enough for your money.

Was very prompt in answering me back within a wonderful time frame online!

Made you feel welcomed when you come inside. They seemed like a very nice family to meet!
