Ordered, through Door Dash, a bunch of food to be delivered. Food arrived hot. The Mu Shu beef was delicious and so was Chicken with snow peas and rest of our food. The only sad thing was that I had ordered the chicken & sizzling rice soup but did not get the crispy rice to add to it. I over looked the error because the food was so wonderful. I will continue to order from Lulu’s.

Definitely will not be back at this place. It seems like an old warehouse. My chicken and vegetables look like it was lathered in clam sauce. My chicken look like menudo meat. The best thing was my white rice. I couldn’t understand anything the lady was saying being as she was wearing a mask. I walked in and stood at the counter for at least a good 10 minutes before somebody came to talk to me.

My very fave classic Chinese-American spot in Albuquerque. Just perfect, right down to the details like white pepper shakers on the tables and excellent (spicyyy!) chili oil. Besides the great lunch specials, standouts are the Singapore noodles, chow fun and red bean sesame balls. Super pleasant service too!

The food was very fresh and very delicious! My hot and sour soup was too good and was finished before I took the photo (as was one of the fried spring rolls). The orange sauce wasn’t too sweet, and the shrimp was perfectly fried. It would be nice if the fried rice served with the dishes had some vegetables in it like onions & carrots at least. It was very quiet inside at dinner time. Some music or even just a TV being on could be nice. A lot of delivery orders, it seemed. If I lived in Albuquerque, I would absolutely eat here regularly.

We had the chicken lo mein and sweet and sour pork lunch specials. They come with a choice of soup and rice and an egg roll. The food was very good, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I highly recommend Lulu’s.

Restaurant was open. Our party stood for 5 minutes and no one came to seat us. It wasn’t apparent anyone was working. Dirty and dingy – it’s time to close up shop.

Such a shame because 10 years ago this place used to be good. Shell of itself and probably shouldn’t have made it through COVID.

I got this delivered by door dash and ordered using the app. However, I asked for extra spicy and it was not spicy at all. I would not recommend ordering food there. Other Chinese places are way better.

Id give 10 stars if I could. I came in for my lunch time pot stickers (federal employee building right next door) & there was a homeless man there. We began to chat & after I purchased my food, I heard him say “I wanted general tso chicken but don’t have enough money”. So I volunteered to pay for the rest of his food. The lady came over to me and said quietly, “it’s ok it’s ok” and she comped the rest. Not only are these the best chicken pot stickers I have found in ABQ but this is the best human behavior I have witnessed from a restaurant staff ❤️ great job!! I’ve traveled far & wide and very rare do I see people with great hearts like this!!

I tried the Orange Chicken lunch special, with the accompanying fried rice (you can choose steamed rice instead), soup (hot and sour or egg flower soup), and a small spring roll. The total was $10.95, which was a good price for the amount of food.

The chicken was slightly tough and not very flavorful. The spring roll didn’t have a memorable taste. The egg flower soup had an interesting flavor I couldn’t place that I didn’t particularly enjoy.

The fountain drink dispenser wasn’t working, but they did have cold soda in cans.

I wouldn’t recommend Lulu, nor would I go back. While the prices for the lunch specials are inexpensive, the food isn’t very enjoyable or appetizing.

Lulu’s Kitchen on Gold in Albuquerque never fails to amaze me! Every dish is packed with flavor, and every bite makes you go “mmmm.” The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent — you can tell they put love into what they do. One of my go-to spots in Albuquerque for sure!
