Location was nice on the lake but the food was so-so. BLT bread was tasty, rest was no good. Bacon was one big chewy lump, not crispy or tender. Pulled pork sandwich was bland and dry. Fries for both were dark and greasy, unappetizing. Pizza was thin and about average. If you must go, order the pizza. Not sure I trust the $50+ meals to be done right. Food was expensive for the poor quality. Outdoor barstools and picnic tables looked nice for a non-rainy day.

Had the fried fish and fries, hubby had the baked potato. They give you marble rye bread and coleslaw. Great flavor to coleslaw and the tarter sauce…..wow was amazing. The fish was A+ quality. The fries were a little soggy like they were under a lamp, I would get baked potato next time. It’s a little small and cramped with people bellied up to the bar. Lots of locals, we went early like 4:05 pm. Waitress was extremely friendly and nice. Old fashion wasn’t bad. I did find it a bit on pricey side but what isn’t in these times.

Great tasting food, large portions.
Believe it was the manager or owner helping out there chatting with guests helping tables going to the kitchen and behind the bar helping as needed which is rare to see in today’s times.
Small location on the lake front, the 3rd image is the view from the parking lot.
Only gripe is its slightly tight walking paths when full of people, which is was during Saturday dinner.

On our tour of restaurants on lakes in se wisconsin, we stopped here, the inside is a fun lake side restaurant with great views of the lake with great dock and boat access , pull up in your boat and have lunch! looking at the menu they have a huge selection of options for lunch and dinner! thats the good! now the bad … wow they are crazy pricey , i know it costs money to run a business,but there’s nothing under 20 dollars for a lunch sandwich, $18 dollars for a blt ? i had the pulled pork and it was just plain and no flavor. they included fries and coleslaw, which was dry and made from vinegar and it was not very good. they have an impressive dinner entrée menu with steaks and other items at very high-end prices not sure if I would come back based on lunch. our kids had pizza as they liked it ,but didnt have much else for kids tastes. Yes, this review was about price. restaurants should be able to offer this level of food for less.

Just stumbled upon this place, and glad we did. Definitely a little gem. Situated by Lake Beulah with great sunset views. Everyone that works here is super friendly, welcoming, great vibe here. Food is outstanding!! And plenty of it to take home for later.

Best Prime Rib sandwich I’ve ever had. Homemade mashed potatoes were delicious. We came back a week later for dinner, my husband had amazing King Prime Rib cooked to perfection and I had fried chicken absolutely delicious, love the breading.
You MUST try their Old Fashioned cocktail, I had it made with Brandy omg best drink I’ve ever had!
You’ll love it here. Wish we lived closer, but definitely worth the drive.

This was our 1st time to this restaurant. The restaurant itself is clean & nice. We sat outside on Friday for a fish fry which was great being able to see the water. Our waitress was pleasant & helpful. The cost was a pretty high for a fish fry but we figured we’re here lets try it. We were told the soups available but not that they were at additional cost. This may have been included on the menu but again 1st time here. The baked french onion was $9.00! While the clam chowder was less (can’t remember the exact cost of the chowder but around 4-5) We each had a single Coke. The bill with a 15% tip was just over $80.00! I couldn’t believe it! We’ll go elsewhere for future fish fry’s

I have enjoyed Lulabells for five years. Tonight a woman had been over-served and every fifth word was “F”. The staff allowed her to continue to carry on at a level that the entire bar had to listen to her vulgar language. I was so uncomfortable I took my meal home. You don’t pay $75.00 per person to have this for an atmosphere. A staff member sat at the bar, three stools from this patron and never addressed her conduct. I highly recommend not sitting in a toilet and listening to this type of behavior for the price you pay.

The food was delicious. We started with Fried Mushrooms (amazing!) and their tomato bisque soup of the day. Had a BLT sandwich and Cobb Salad – also fantastic. I regret I didn’t get pictures of those. I agree with a previous review that the fries weren’t crispy, which I expected because they looked brown when they came out. That was the only disappointing aspect of the food as my preference is for crispy fries. They tasted homemade though. As a previous reviewer said – I too have been in “sticker shock” lately eating out. Prices everywhere have shot up. $7 for a bottle of NA beer, $19 Cobb salad and $16 BLT. There was a service charge on our bill too. But this was a treat for us to dine outside looking at the water on an April day. The food was delicious, so we will likely be back when out that way again.

I have been here before, and the food is typically good. We stopped after getting off the boat for some drinks and dinner. There were a lot of seats inside available, but we were told that they were reserved and we needed to sit outside. Our server was extremely friendly so I don’t want her to take any fault for this, but we asked if we could have some glasses of water to start and she told us they no longer offered water for free. They only sold water and it was 3.00 a bottle. It was a plastic Kirkland bottle of water from Costco. We all found this pretty ridiculous, what restaurants no longer serve tap water. Especially outside and a weekend that is 90 plus degrees all weekend? We asked to speak to the owner, and he told us that he could no longer afford to provide free water. He told us it costs too much, to provide ice and wash the cups and it was too much effort on his staff. Every beer or soft drink we ordered was served in a disposable plastic cup. It is the only restaurant open on the lake. His prices for food and drinks have risen dramatically since the two other restaurants have closed or burnt down. I’m pretty sure he is taking advantage of his Monopoly and his patrons by charging extremely high prices for food and drinks and can not even get a simple glass of water. We will not be back.

The staff is super friendly, and the Lake Beulah view is amazingly beautiful. We have eaten at Lullabelles before but opted for just drinks this time. I did not rate the food. The Bloody Mary was delisb as well as the Margarita on the rocks. We will definitely come back for food.
