Named NYC’s best lobster roll! Luke’s Lobster is a B-Corp Certified, Maine-bred seafood shack committed to simple dishes that highlight superior ingredients, served straight from the source, without the filler. The Upper East Side restaurant was the second Luke’s location to open back in 2010. The shack is our little slice of Maine in the city, featuring high-top seating and a rustic vibe. Join us for some seafood rolls and clam chowder before a visit to Museum Mile or take a lobster roll to go for a picnic in Central Park. We’re here to make sure everyone on the Upper East Side can get their lobster roll fix!

Tried the regular lobster rolls and the hot honey and truffle rolls. The hot honey was my favorite. Would go again, but it wasn’t the best ever.

lobster can’t taste bad so obviously it was delicious. the sampler was a good way to try out the shrimp, lobster, and crab (each piece was 2oz whereas the regular size was 4oz & larger size was 6oz which just has more meat). this place is if you’re willing to spend a good amount of money for yummy sandwiches. understandable for fresh seafood. but hey at least they give you a free bag of chips lol

Honestly, would’ve given them a 5-Star rating if we just had the lobster roll. It was absolutely stuffed with thick CHUNKS of soft sweet sweet lobster and it was just delicious, especially if you enjoy being able to actually taste the lobster and not be overwhelmed by the butter and sauces/mayo that some places tend to stuff their rolls with to overcompensate for the lack of lobster meat. NOT here.

I’m not a lobster/seafood fanatic but the lobster rolls are 5 stars, perfectly seasoned, full of flavor and not overdone on the butter. Shrimp and crab rolls were good but nothing crazy.

A small but very good restaurant in the style of a fast food lobster place. The menu is limited to a small number of items. The lobster rolls are great and the cole slaw is very good. There is no wait staff but the kitchen will bring out your food. There is only a handful of tables here.

Tastes like Maine, 10/10! I have tried lobster rolls at high-end restaurants in the city and still Luke’s remains a top contender for the best quality lobster roll in NYC.
