Yum. HUGE sandwiches. Legit, one half of their sandwich is a generous size for a regular sandwich. I had the BLAT tonight and it did not disappoint. Special shout out to the pea sprouts! They lend a nice and easy fresh crunch. The bacon was indeed thick as advertised and delicious, and the garlic aioli was the chef’s kiss that brought it all together. Job well done! Also, the interior is good size, big enough for groups to come and feast. The next time I go, I’ll bring a friend and split one sandwich between us because I’m not sure how well the second half will hold overnight in the fridge. I definitely recommend giving them a go.

Wow!! I tried Luke’s for the first time this evening and it was fantastic! I drove past a few days ago and got curious when I saw a line out the door — I now understand why so many people were there waiting for sandwiches.
The atmosphere is great, it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat alone or with friends, it’s incredibly vibe-y and has classic Ventura charm. The staff was very welcoming and kind, great presence. My sandwich was ready super quickly after ordering, great overall service.
But of course, the real star was the sandwich itself. I ordered the club and I don’t say this lightly — it must be the best sandwich I’ve ever had, or at the very least, the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The house-made focaccia was the perfect texture and despite coming in towards the end of the day, the bread tasted incredibly fresh. The sauce is delicious, everything just tastes amazing. Not to mention, the size of the thing is great. It’s the perfect portion. I will absolutely be back (maybe even tomorrow, I don’t know if I can stay away)
I hardly ever write reviews, but after the first bite I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep from singing these sandwich praises. To Luke’s: Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re doing great!

AMAZING!!! I tried the Romesco and the “Not a Cheesesteak” – both SO good. Juicy bread, exciting flavors, fresh ingredients – you can really tell that everything is made from scratch. I can honestly say the Romesco (pictured) is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Also, don’t miss the homemade nitro (!!) lemonade, or the chips – they’re umami, seasoned in-house… The interior is very chill and such a good vibe too. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu. Mark my words, this will be the next Ventura staple.
