This spot exceeded expectations in cuisine, atmosphere and service. We went early. It was happy hour and this place does happy hour right. The cocktails are half price and are fully made. The appetizer of seafood salad and smoked trout dip were superb.

***NO MILITARY DISCOUNT*** Delicious food all the way around. The Brussel sprouts were mouth-watering delicious. Even our kiddos loved them. The portions are fairly large, so you may want to share. The chicken sandwich was fried to perfection. We would definitely come back again.

We went to Luke prior to a concert and their service was very fast. The food was quite tasty and the drinks were good. Oysters and pompano were well executed and the staff was friendly. Overall Luke was a good experience for a casual meal. The atmosphere was fair, needed some updating and windows back to kitchen needed some cleaning.

Came with friends for dinner- overall it was good, but for the price point there was a little left to be desired. We loved the seafood plateau (basically the sampler) – the best of this was the red snapper dip. For entrees the shrimp and grits were solid. The chicken and red beans was adequate, but nothing to write home about. By far the best of the night was the bread pudding dessert- we may come back just to get this.

Best happy hour in New Orleans in my opinion. Their version of the French 75 is awesome. My personal favorite in the city. You can’t beat the deal on the oysters from 3-6. Discounted oysters on the half shell and numerous cocktail, draft beer, and wine by the glass specials. The Luke burger is gigantic and a must try if you are a burger fan. A great old school New Orleans vibe with exceptional service and great food. Always a must hit every time I am in town.

Service and atmosphere were great. The food plates are Greek with mix of creole. We started with the raw bar which we loved. I went for the Nola experience. My friend and I had gumbo. I didn’t like mine too much and they were kind and removed the item. We had great dip and some drinks.

We needed a place that stayed open late and this was the answer!! Took us three other restaurants before we found this (all the other places either didn’t have enough seats or were closed).

we really struggled to find $1 oysters while in NOLA! Luke had gulf oysters for $1.50 during their happy hour. they give you a great amount of accoutrements with your oysters (sauces, a spicy horseradish, saltines, lemons). overall, great place for cheaper oysters the way you want them.

Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Staff were attentive and worked well as a team. They checked in often, even as it got busier. Andrea S. even turned to check on us while she was with another table when I mentioned in a private conversation about more water. It was not needed. This restaurant was recommended by my hotel concierge. It was far better than the $300+ we spent at our hotel restaurant and cost considerably less (about half).
