We get our name, Luka, from the combination of our owners’ names, Luis and Catalina, who have worked hard for 20 years so that this beautiful project can come to life. They consider it a member of their family. Our friendly staff is here to serve you our homemade food that will either take you to your roots or welcome you into our Latin heritage.

My family and I were in Miami today looking for a good spot for lunch, and Luka Restaurant popped up on Google with great reviews. We decided to give it a try and we are really glad we did.
That atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a relaxing lunch. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Every dish had great flavor, and you could tell everything was prepared with care. The service was impressive and quick.
Overall, Luka Restaurant lived up to the reviews and gave us a great lunch experience. We will definitely come back when next we are in Miami.

My wife and I always like to sit next to each other. The waitress immediately pushed two tables together for us to make our lunch even more comfortable. The staff is five-star! It’s a beautiful place and the food was very delicious. The coffee tastes good; it’s just a pity that there’s no 2% milk. However, this didn’t change the overall experience at all, and we will definitely come back.

Found this gem on a google search for burgers in the area and it was sooo worth it. We were greeted warmly by the host which sat us outside. The environment was pleasant for a Saturday afternoon. Elvis our server was great and made great menu suggestions. The Bacon Burger which I added Queso Frito to was delicious!!! We also ordered the Paisa Bowl which was also tasty. Oh and please make sure to have one of their delicious fruit juices. Can’t wait to go back.

We were looking for a Latina breakfast experience while visiting in Miami for the National Championship game and we hit a home run with Luka’s! The selections were diverse and all looked scrumptious – it was very difficult to choose…I didn’t want something I could order anywhere and they have those selections too. Very please with my selection with the server’s suggestion. The steak and eggs was enormous serving but my friend ate it all – crazy! He called it the breakfast of champions after the IU Win! I would definitely return to try another item or maybe the exact same selection….soooooo good!

The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and incredibly inviting — you feel welcome the moment you step through the door (which, by the way, is uniquely charming and adds character right from the entrance!).
But the real highlight of our experience was Elvis, our server. He was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made our time there extra special. You can tell he cares about giving great service and making guests feel at home.
Highly recommend this place for both coffee and dining. We’ll definitely be back!

We were visiting from out of town to see our son who lives nearby, and after seeing all the great reviews for Luka, we decided to give it a try — and we are so glad we did!
From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. While there was a bit of a language barrier, their kindness and attentiveness more than made up for it. Our server, Denises, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, efficient, and kept our drinks full and service flowing smoothly.
And the food? Incredible. I had never tried this style of cuisine before, but it was hands down some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The arepas were phenomenal, and the tacos al pastor were bursting with flavor. My husband and sons ordered everything from lentil soup and empanadas to a burger — every single dish was delicious. And don’t even get me started on the taqueños… YUM!
We also ordered lattes that were not only beautifully presented but also delicious. We loved the coffee so much we bought a couple of bags — one for ourselves and one as a gift.
Though we live several states away, Luka is officially on our must-visit list for every future trip. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!
