This Chinese restaurant ~ located in the Live! Casino and Hotel serves the most delicious dishes. The hot green tea was especially nice. I recommend the hot and sour soup to start, any dish you order will be absolutely perfect .

I do not drink. I do not gamble. I DO live in Shreveport and I still come to Live Casino to eat.
There’s not just one restaurant here, there are several and Luk Fu’s Asian EVERYTHING menu is one of my favorites.
And when I say everything I mean everything. I had Vietnamese egg rolls, Japanese sushi martinis, Shrimp pad Thai, shrimp fried rice AND snow crab Thursday and they had Chinese dishes like orange chicken and after the fact I learned their crab Rangoon is some of the best in town.
Whether you’re staying at Live Casino (which I’d consider doing despite living only 4 miles away) or just looking for a nice fancy dinner this place has all the tastes and ambiance and service for a wonderful experience.
The dumplings are OH so stuffed and yummy. I could have eaten 12.
The snow crab is sweet and fresh. Everything came out so fast and hot (except the delicious sushi appetizer filled with chunks of fresh fish and covered in caviar and masago… so good).
There was nothing I did not like, with this meal and there is tons on the menu left to try.
Live Casino has definitely been offering an elevated dining experience at all their restaurants and you can tell they’re the newest casino in town because they’ve mastered the overall experience in a way that brings a little bit of Vegas right here to the SBC.
10/10 experience! Will be back!

I visited Luk-Fu recently and while the staff was very kind and welcoming, I was disappointed with the food—especially considering the price point.
I ordered the chicken and shrimp fried rice, and unfortunately the quality just wasn’t there. The chicken did not look fully cooked and had an off texture, and the shrimp was on the cooler side and lacked flavor. Neither the chicken nor the shrimp had any seasoning or taste. The rice itself was okay, more like a grilled rice, and the onions helped give it a little more flavor, but overall the dish fell short.
I really wanted to enjoy this meal, but the quality and flavor were not what I expected from a restaurant inside a hotel casino. I hope the kitchen takes this feedback to improve the dish, because the staff and atmosphere were great.

Got there just before close. As a foodie I know that that is a no no. The kitchen staff were amazing answering any question I had AND without attitude which means they enjoy cooking and realize that things happen. The green beans were for an appetizer and were absolutely fabulous; spicy, tangy and hot. The shrimp pad Thai was exactly what I hoped for; tender shrimp, fresh noodles and decent spice with a splash of lime, and the shrimp fried rice was in the top 3 in the city, perhaps top 2. Overall, I’ll definitely be back. ❤️

I saw the negative reviews and decided to let Luk Fu prove them wrong. And now I don’t understand the negative reviews at all. Egg rolls were extra crispy. Crispy duck was a little dry granted, but even the waitress called it out and offered to replace. The service is 5 star. If you don’t like your food, ask for a substitution. They seem to accommodate. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time and food. Give it a try. It’s good asian food

Very minimum Real Chinese Food you can find in States. There are several Real Chinese Chefs(Master Si Fu) making the excellent traditional Chinese Taste that you must want to try. I definitely will come back again.

Casino comped us some $ to try Luk Fu out. We tried the stir fry lomein and combination fried rice. The smoky flavors of the fried rice and lomein were spot on for us. We have eaten many Chinese and Vietnamese places in Bossier/Shreveport areas. None can top Luk Fu right now. The prices aren’t overly expensive for a casino hotel too. The only thing is that they charge 3% facility fee on all checks, which no one can explain what that really is for. All restaurants inside this casino automatically add that 3% to the final bill. This is our definite place now for Chinese/Vietnamese food. Will tru the sushi and Thai dishes next.

Terrible service! Food was mediocre at best. We sat for a good 15 min without being acknowledged. When they finally acknowledged us we ordered 2 orders of veggie rolls (which states on the menu rolls come 8 pieces) and chicken lo mien. It took a manager coming over to actually go get our drinks for us because every waitress was no where to be found. When our food arrived the rolls were only 5 pieces each and delivered by one of the chefs after sitting on the bar for 8 min our lo mien was delivered by the same chef. Lo mien was tasteless and the minuscule amount of chicken was undercooked. When we asked the waitress about the rolls being less than what the menu said she replied it’s a menu error, the veggie rolls come in orders of 6. Ummm okay well there are still only 10 pieces on this plate. Instead of saying, give me one second let me fix this for you her response was, I can send him over to explain to you because that’s his area. I’m guess the him she was referring to was the sushi chef. Ummm Nevermind, we decided to just eat and leave. To bad leaving wasn’t as easy as we had hoped because we got to sit and observe the root cause of the horrible service and lack luster environment. 100% a business that is ran by a professional manager will exude 5 star service in the event a customer expresses their displeasure in any aspect of their dining experience. I have worked at many restaurants and managed many people in my adult career, under no circumstances was I allowed to nor would I allow any wait staff to sit at a customers table while still having active tables especially not while the manager is talking to the people at said table.
I expected so much more from this establishment!! Don’t waste your money!

Waitress was engaged and the setting is cool. The food wasn’t flavorful or styled well enough to justify the price. Our chicken dish tasted like plain fried chicken with pepper on it and promised peppers were not included. Pho was bland and the supplemental herbs were meager.

The food was surprisingly great! I’ve tried many Asian restaurants in the area and most are pretty underwhelming and taste the same, but Luk Fu really stood out. We ordered the Mongolian Beef, Beef Bulgogi, and General Tso’s Chicken all three dishes were flavorful, fresh, and came in generous portions.
Each plate had its own unique taste, not the usual cookie-cutter flavor you get elsewhere. The quality and seasoning really persuaded me to come back for more. Definitely a hidden gem worth trying!
