Luuisa’s Swedish Bakery & Market is an obligatory stop anytime you get the opportunity. Breakfast lentil and thick cut crispy bacon, Swedish pancakes an Ligonberry topping, avocado toast and any combination of traditional breakfast items. Lunch items and of course the baked goods of all types. Swedish Limpa bread is a great item. Great people, attentive service and well prepared food. KUDOS!!!

Very nice place with delicious food but
The portions are quite small for the price, but everything is good and tasty. Be prepared to be surprised by the wait times during peak hours. You order your food at the cash register first, and then wait for a table. This is quite strange and causes a lot of chaos. I don’t know why the owners stick to this system. It’s worth to mention that they have delicious pastry

This place is so cute and the food is delicious! Very friendly staff, cozy environment, and the best breakfast in the area. Open during the off season! I had the carrot cake waffle sandwich and it was SO good.

This place has the best coffee ever!!! I’m not a coffee drinker but I guess I’ll be joining the club now. It was the best I’ve ever had. I went with 2 more friends from Chicago and they also both said this coffee tastes so different and smooth. Vivian was really pleasant and made us fill like home. While we were waiting for our order she gave us some cinnamon that was so fresh made and delicious.

There are 3 different areas; one for breakfast and coffee, one for pastries and one for coffee.
We stayed for breakfast. The Swedish pancakes were so good, they were very buttery – I felt they could’ve used a bit more jam, but so delicious. My husband had the carrot waffle – he said it had a lot of carrot flavor and had a nice crisp.
The coffee was the perfect combo of sweet and strong.

If you like, homemade pastries and bread, this is the place to visit. From the best bakery items I’ve ever had. It is great when you’re visiting Michigan. It is a must visit.

Great bakery and great restaurant. I have never had something from the Swedish Bakery that I didn’t like. I highly recommend you try their Swedish pancakes, ham and swiss croissants, cinnamon rolls, and cardamom buns. Fabulous place!

Wow such good pastries!! The chocolate chip cookie was amazing. I got two. The plain croissant was AMAZING. I wanted to go back but they were closed the days we were in Michigan. The workers were friendly and patient for us to order. Can’t wait to come back.
