Luis Mexican Food & Grill offers authentic and delicious dishes! The first time we went we had the Ramen Barria….WOW!!! Ramen Barria is AH-MAZING and is simply an explosion of flavor in every single bite! It is a delicious combination of ramen noodles, tender beef, carrots, peas, corn, rice, and spices swimming in a spicy broth that is nothing short of delightful! The barria taco is overflowing with tender beef, onions, spices, all held together inside 2 tender and light corn tortillas with melted cheese. The pull on that melted cheese is soooo good! The dish is $12.99 and is so much food that you can leave with leftovers for another meal later. A great value, indeed!
Our 2nd visit we tried cheese empanada, cheese dip, sopa, and tacos…..again, did not disappoint! Food was fresh, hot, full of flavor and just SO VERY good!
Visited again last night and my husband and I both ordered the Barria Ramen again. All I can say is DELICIOUS!!!!!
Oh!….I almost forgot! They have a little salsa bar area with the most delicious salsa to enjoy with tortilla chips they bring to your table. The creamy cucumber cilantro (?) sauce is very good…love it! The tomatillo is smokey and rich. The mild salsa and spicy are both intense flavor. Just SO good!
The staff is so friendly, helpful, and respectful. The atmosphere is not bad at all, just need to understand it is also a Mexican market. But, the seating area for the restaurant is on the other end of the building so not intrusive or anything like that while enjoying your meal.
HIGHLY recommend!!!! We will definitely continue to revisit time and time again….quickly has become a new favorite!!!!

I can’t comment on service or atmosphere because I ordered delivery but I had to comment on the food…..

I have worked in restaurants and catering so I know how kitchens really work but this? I can’t see how this has a 4.6 rating on Uber Eats….

The chips weren’t the typical house made chips, these were like generic (Sysco) tortilla chips. The salsa was like an eh salsa that really wanted to just be tomato sauce. The queso was queso, I mean how hard is it to melt american cheese with heavy cream? But I did request extra jalapeños and was surprised that meant 4 whole slices and nothing else.

The esquites is cheap, generic corn (Sysco again I am sure) that is tough and has no real/good favor. The sauce that is there is settled and minimal, there is cheese and some visible seasoning but you can’t taste any of that.

The chicken chimi apparently comes standard with rice and beans inside(?) it. I requested the beans be left off but the “chicken chimichanga” was mostly rice and a needlessly oversized tortilla. The menu said it came with queso and a red sauce on it. There were a couple globs of cheese but definitely not like alll the other chimis I have had. The sauce looked and tasted like it wanted to be a buffalo sauce.

The tres leches cake I only tasted because I was writing this review. It tastes as processed as it looks with worse flavors on the back end.

I usually only write good reviews when they are earned and don’t write bad reviews. But this was just, I was disappointed for as highly rated as it was.

$40 wasted and nothing to eat because I won’t order more food after thinking I was splurging to treat myself, not to be disappointed.

Please note that I didn’t think ahead and these photos were taken in portrait mode, so they look better than the food actually did in person by quite a bit.

Yo this is a legit authentic Mexican spot. Basically a counter inside a grocery store. All employees are Mexican. Sauce bar. Best Tacos I had in a while. Try Pastor and Asado. Also the grilled shrimps were delicious!
Prices are very fair

This Mexican restaurant has truly become my go-to spot for nachos and birria tacos! Every time I come here, the food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The birria tacos are perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the nachos are always loaded just right.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming..whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the staff always makes sure you feel appreciated. One thing I really love is that they always get my order right, no matter how busy it is. They even offer uncooked food options you can buy to make at home, which is such a great bonus! It’s perfect if you want to enjoy their authentic flavors from your own kitchen. If you’re craving great Mexican food with excellent service and a laid-back vibe, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend! ❤️

You’ll find this delicious food in this store. Step to the counter and choose from almost any item you could want. Sit down or take it to go. The salsa bar is a must. It’s been a while since I had such good salsa.

Luis has consistently GREAT FOOD, and they never disappoint!!! There’s nothing I have had there that I didn’t like. Mi favoritos are the borrego (lamb)tacos, fresh chicharrones, and the sopes. My way to grade Mexican restaurants is the beans, rice and salsa. If those basics aren’t good, I’m questioning everything…

A large Mexican supermarket with a restaurant inside. All kinds of Mexican foods for purchase, a butcher shop, and great cuisine all in one place. We sat down for Garlic Chicken Tacos and Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas. Served with all the sides, and you have a selection of salsas at the salsa bar. We also has the chorizo cheese dip w/ chips. Check-out said our order would probably take an hour, but our order came out in less than 15 minutes. The service was fast and friendly. Awesome taste to the food, and I would highly recommend this place.
