Found this place on Google maps and what a hidden gem. Absolutely stunning Italian restaurant with a highly varied menu. We had the fillet steak and pizza with cheesy garlic bread and it was stunning. Forgot to take a photo of our dessert but we had the cheesecake and the cannoli, a top meal! I would absolutely come here again! Our waitress was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, thank you for a lovely service!

Everything about this place is perfect. The staff are absolutely lovely- quick on their feet, respectful, and friendly. Maddie (sorry for any misspellings) was our waitress, and she was incredibly sweet and attentive! The interior décor is beautiful, reminiscent of many restaurants I’ve visited in Italy, giving the whole place an authentic vibe.
Most importantly, the food is phenomenal! I ordered the Gamberoni al Guazzetto and asked if the chef could add mussels; they happily accommodated, and the result was outstanding. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, which really speaks to the quality of their ingredients! The profiteroles were also amazing, I highly recommend them if you want a dessert that’s both sweet and fresh!
My partner had the Pasta Carbonara, which he could not stop raving about, followed by the classic Panna Cotta that he devoured within seconds. You can taste the freshness in every bite, as the Panna Cotta was very tasty and refreshing!
The menu offers a rich variety of choices, and the chefs are more than willing to adjust dishes to suit your preferences.
To finish off our visit, we were each offered a complimentary digestif- such a warm and authentically Italian touch! It truly felt like we teleported back to Rome!

Just had an amazing meal at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were absolutely excellent – really welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special.
We started with bruschetta al pomodoro, which was fresh, full of flavour, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For mains we had the lasagne and spaghetti allo scoglio – both cooked perfectly, packed with authentic Italian taste, and served piping hot. You can really tell they take pride in their cooking.
For dessert, we went for the cheesecake with caramel sauce and the cannoli, and they were the perfect finish – rich, delicious, and beautifully presented.
Overall, fantastic food, fantastic service, and a place we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!

The best Italian in Swansea by far (coming from an Italian person growing up on Italian food)
Everything was amazing. Diego and Luigi the owners were so nice and happy to recommend dishes and chat. The coffee is absolutely stunning and too and it’s hard to find non bitter espressos around here!!!

Enjoyed a group meal at Luigi’s last month. Classic simple Italian menu, good value for money.
Honest and very tasty starter, main and desserts for all.
Venue a touch dated, but clean. The staff were vibrant, generated atmosphere, fun and attentive and topped a great evening.

The waitstaff were very attentive. The food is just like Italy and so is the vibe of the place (we know as we have family in Italy and go multiple times per year and to local places not touristy). I love the vintage mid century music that they play as well. Very family friendly too

Great choice of options on the menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t mind re-seating us, when asked to move to a window seat.
Despite busyness of small staff number, food severed was hot, delicious and atmosphere remained comfortable and pleasant.
Slow to provide bill, which isn’t particularly a criticism.
Would 100% visit again!

Great time with our men’s group Grubtalks at this even and the staff were super and made us feel very welcome.
It felt flat in there with atmosphere though, building works in part of the room and just generally unfinished all round.
The win was the food, really nice over all, portions, style and taste very good, some little issues as we were such a big table but all understandable. Generally good price and encourage visiting.

Lovely food with large portion sizes, sweet staff and a free limoncello with the bill. Despite the large portion sizes they offered to let me take it home which was much appreciated. Proper Italian food and cheap for what I would call a posh dining experience. Me and my partner had starters and mains which came to around £40 total.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Last weekend the family and went for our third meal at Luigis and just lke the first two visits it was wonderful. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great the service however surpasses both. My granddaughters (5 and 9) feel so special here and once again when the rest of us were served the complimentary limincello with the bill they were given shots of ‘rasperry vodka’. Naturally its a fruit juice but its served in shot glasses and they are so happy to be included in the ritual. I think it is a lovely touch.
