At Luigi’s Pizzeria, we’ve got a passion for pizza. Our New York-style pies are made from hand-tossed dough, made in-house daily and pressed thin. They’re spread with a tasty tomato sauce (with no added sugar!), hand-shredded whole mozzarella, and generous helpings of fresh toppings before being deck oven-baked for even cooking and a crispy crust.Slices are wide, thin, and perfectly foldable, just as they should be! Order by the pie or by the slice. Or try house-made lasagna, creamy pastas, fresh salads, and our legendary Italian gelato. Dine-in, carry out, or order delivery in three convenient Houston locations!
Local pizzeria chain serving NY-style pies, plus pasta, sandwiches & gelato, in a relaxed space.

Edit: August 2025 — They went back to the old dough!! And, it’s back on top – pizza was crisp, full of flavor, and freshness. Also tried the french fries which were amazing. Only one side note: my friend ordered the fries as a vegan option, so was disappointed to find a few chicken crumbs at the bottom – if a separate oil vat for fries or note can be made on the menu – I think those with dietary restrictions would be grateful. Other than that, will definitely be back – the girl at the register and guy with the curly hair working on 08.03.25 were very accomodating and friendly. 5/5 – thank you Luigi’s for making it right!!
This place used to be great. Spent over $50 for 2 pizzas. Neither of which were great, but the larger one was nothing more than a frozen bad grocery store pizza. No flavor whatsoever – couldn’t even finish it. Felt like a prime example of wasting money which is a cardinal sin in these days. I remember the pico de gallo topping being amazing and vibrant – this go round it was so skimpy hardly any diced tomatoes or onions and just few super spicy, poorly chopped jalapeños. Dough tasted bland as well. I’m just upset having spent this and barely enjoyed it.

Luigi’s Pizzeria offers a cozy, comforting environment to grab a diverse array of Italian treats. Customer service was good, and staff whipped up our order quite fast. In terms of the actual pizza and salad though, the experience felt a bit lackluster. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak with a Baby Luigi’s salad. They both lacked real flavor until we doused them in red chilly flakes and parmesan cheese and even then, they both seemed like overpriced items for the experience we had. I’m curious to go back and try different toppings to see if that would make a difference, since the sauce and crust were quite good.

Delicious food. Great service. I highly recommend the Margherita pizza and fries.

Great food tasted so fresh & hot! Kind of small in lobby area. But the patio is huge! And it’s in the same exact area as a bar. So it was great for everyone. Adults and my teen! And yes I will be going back! I recommend it to everyone!

When you pull up you are met with a cool mural on the side of the building. One kf the main draws to this pizza spot is that it connects to Axelrad beer garden through a patio door. The interior dining space is limited but a great vibe. The outdoor patio has plenty of seating to accomodate anyone stopping in or passing through after a few drinks. The service was pretty solid, the staff were friendly. I would say that the pizza is overpriced for how it tastes. The pizza came out and looked great but tasted average. For less money for 2 slices, you’d get much better flavor and more interior seating elbow room at Frank’s Pizza. The fountain soda taste pretty good. Overall the meal was a B level but the price brought it down slightly to about C+. If you had a few drinks in you, I am certain this pizza would be heavenlyz but completely sober I’d have to say it pleases the eyes more than the mouth.

I stopped in for their Meatball Mondays. I ordered a meatball sub. It took 4min and 37 secs to receive my order, which h is great. The sub tasted great, however, it was a bit cold and the cheese did not melt. Otherwise service and atmosphere were really cool.

We’ve been here once before and passed through all the time. This time, we picked up. One meatball sub and their fan pick lasagna. Both deliciously made and a good price. I wish they would bring back their calzones. This place is a really cool spot to hangout and enjoy some good food from a local business. Enjoy!!!

I got food poisoning from eating the meats pizza (one on the left). I ate about half of it and started feeling nauseous so I threw the slice out. In the early morning I woke up multiple times so sick, body aching and puking with a low fever. I’ve been bed ridden all day.

Stopped by Luigi’s Pizzeria in Midtown for lunch and grabbed their supreme calzone—only $10, what a steal! It was super fresh, stuffed to the brim with all the supreme fixings (pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese). The crust was perfectly crispy, and the flavors were on point. Great value and a lively atmosphere. Definitely coming back for more!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would!
This biggest reason to recommend this spot is that you don’t want to drink at Axelrod’s on an empty stomach. They should have a more welcoming attitude if they’re going to serve food this bad!
My friends said the pizza was THE BOMB — I only saw it, and it looked like a HUGE Totinos. They’ve got this weird this with NO PIZZA BOXES!
But worse, be prepared for a WAIT. A lady ahead of me had been waiting when I got there…AND was still waiting when I left!! I cooled my jets for over 15 minutes for a Build Your Own Pasta. I can’t tell what I waited for because it was lukewarm, soupy and unappealing, soo ??
I ordered spaghetti with Alfredo, ground beef and spinach. Look at my photo and see if YOU can spot the beef! You shouldn’t need a jeweler’s loop! The spinach that they charged me $1 extra wasn’t any better!
The Alfredo sauce tasted like Velveeta, and the pasta was so gummy that I coughed down my first bite! My friends LITERALLY had to pat me on the back for me to choke it down. Finally, the (cold) garlic bread tasted like a Hawaiian roll.
My friend said he tasted a HINT of garlic, but NO. Also, if there was butter, I didn’t find it. Oh, and it was soggy!
In short, this was a $17 dollar insult, wrapped in disappointment!
