Great food, and very friendly staff, but expect to wait a while if it’s busy. You counter order at the register and get a number stand for your table. They’ll bring out the pizzas as they are cooked. Fountain drinks and water are self-serve in the middle/right side, adjacent to a table with plates, flatware, and to-go boxes that you can grab yourself. There’s also a couple of single occupancy bathrooms in the back of the restaurant. I had gone with a large group that ordered 3 pizzas which came out sequentially: a Margherita (came out first in about half an hour), then the PB&J (~45min after ordering), and the Boulevard (nearly an hour after ordering). PB&J (Shredded Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Pineapple, Canadian Turkey Bacon, Jalapeño, Red Sauce) was flavorful and balanced, but the Boulevard (Shredded Mozzarella, House Ground Sausage, Pepperoni, Linguica, Onion, Bell Pepper, Mushroom, Red Sauce) was a bit on the salty side. One of the employees offered to take a photo of our group for us, as we were leaving which was greatly appreciated. Overall wonderful experience and with tasty food, and highly recommended!!

Luigi Pizza Parlor is a great spot if you’re craving solid pizza and good drinks. The food is consistently great, and they also have a nice variety of drinks to choose from, which makes it a fun place to hang out.
My personal favorite is the Beef Lovers pizza, super flavorful and it hits the spot. The atmosphere is laid back, and it’s a great place for a casual meal with friends or family.
Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

out and about on foot in the neighborhood luigi’s pizzeria established 1953 full service bar includes usual wings andonzarella sticks on menu, nice balanced selection of wine and beer on tap plus specialty local brews in the cooler, musical vibe laid back 70s & 80s on the speakers kiddie pinball games in the back; making return visit from yesterday had a slice & pizza was fantastic came back for a whole pie!

Remember when families would go to the neighborhood pizza “parlor” and enjoy a family dinner together while the kids begged for change for the pinball machines? This place is like going back to those times again. The in-house made sausage and meatballs are delish, the service is friendly and welcoming, while the atmosphere makes you yearn for the good ol’ days again. We just happened to land at this lovely restaurant randomly on a weekend girls trip from NM and it felt like we were led there. I haven’t seen my mom and aunt light up like that in ages. They were like young girls again playing the pinball machines and laughing together. Thank you for the great memories reignited tonight. If you’re looking for a great place for dinner, or just a place to unwind and enjoy some time together, I highly recommend Luigi’s. Bravo! And thank you for the wonderful night out.

Loved the pizza and dip. It was delicious. Pizza crust is perfect, not too thin and not thick at all. Crispy crust and it stays crispy and doesn’t get soggy. Generous with the toppings. We ordered the jalapeño artichoke dip and for the pizza half all meat and half the boulevard. This is my new favorite pizza place!!

Although it was my family childhood favorite place I came years later after moving to a different city and the first reaction i had with one of the employees was kinda tense, i guess their business has shifted more take out oriented.
You have to pay first before eating (some costumers paid after eating) my pizza came it was good but kinda extra on the olives either way I wasn’t offer any drink or ask about it, nobody came and see if i needed something not even water. Idk because of my ethnicity or because it was just me eating they didn’t care as much. The beer was so good and the place still has that old school vibe that me and my family still fondly remember.
But they have to care a little bit on the costumer service and the restaurant wasn’t busy either.

Raven “Misty Teves” Teves
I am a native of this area of Sacramento, literally grew up right down the street from this place, and it never disappoints, Every time I am away from Sacramento I crave the pizza from Luigi’s.
The sauce is vibrant and tangy. The crust has that wonderful crisp bite, yet still has that chew you want from pizza crust. The toppings are plentiful.
Had the jalapeno artichoke dip for the first time and damn it was amazing, unfortunately forgot to take a picture of it before devouring it lol.
The pizza as a whole is always nice and fresh.
It is however on the pricier end of things, however you are going to come home with leftovers, if eating at the place.
They have a homemade Ranch that is well worth going just for itself.

Took my kids and they loved it.
5 or 6 pin ball machines which was pretty cool.
Old school vibe and decor. Pizza was solid. Not many tables, but there’s a bar and draft beer.
Staff could be a bit more friendly, but nobody was rude.

Food took an hour. For a pizza and a sandwich. We had to remind the staff of our order several times. There were only 12 people in the whole place. How do they handle a crowd?

Great bartenders. Very friendly and can make a good drink for a fair price. Good menu and the food was great. Parking a bit challenging due to the street parking and neighborhood not ideal although the service and food makes this a great place to visit. An established place with history and a place that feels welcoming. Casual atmosphere and even gas some pinball machines. Will visit again !
