I love the set up it is really nice inside. The servers were great. The food was amazing, minus the calamari. We had (kids) cheese ravioli, manicotti, a medium cheese pizza. The serving sizes are huge! And the bread is so good too. The prices were great too.

I’ve always been a fan of other Luigi locations. I went here on Valentine’s Day, only a 20 min wait. The special holiday menu still had plenty of good options, and it was a great idea to help move the holiday crowd. The drinks were also made right.

I recommend the Shrimp Carbonara or the Vodka Tortellini with Chicken.

In the world of Italian restaurants, this particular place just couldn’t hit the mark. Let’s take for example their garlic bread. It was basically a biscuit with some garlic butter. And it had garlic powder on it. It needed some help to say the least. I don’t want to make this a long review but what I can say is I had the chicken cappellini. Honestly it wasn’t too bad but wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The food looks really good and the service was really great. I had playful banter with all of the staff. They do serve wine and I went with white zinfandel which is not all that fantastic of a wine but it was the Behringer brand which I so happen to like. Were they really miss the Mark is they offer no sangria. How is that even possible if you call yourself an Italian restaurant? The restaurant had a nice setup and Decor was new and fresh but nothing unique. Seriously nothing stands out. I may visit again but Luigi’s will not be on my top 10 list for sure.

I could not be more pleased with the food. Full flavor sauces and quick to the table with decent portion sizes. It was a bit loud and the space is kind of tight. Expect a wait and be flexible with seating to make it go quick. I had the dish marked as Luigi’s favorite and substituted to Penne pasta. Let’s just say, this will be a destination! To note on the bread with garlic and herbs in oil, the garlic is very strong. It is worth knowing this in advance. If you like Italian, you should not be disappointed.

Nice easy atmosphere. Average service, not overly attentive. Pasta sampler was tasty, as was the chicken parm.
Sauce is a little sweet.
Bread is very tender, bland very average (tastes like oven heated food service rolls with a quick baste of olive oil on top). Needs to have little tug and more (buttery) flavor. Olive oil dipping oil was very bland.
For the price and the hype, overall disappointing.
Paper napkins, chipped plates (this is a new location, just opened), flavorless bread and dipping oil.

Luigis exceeded all expectations.
Our server was so helpful and knew about the ingredients in the food.

The rolls with oil and spices were perfect and fluffy.

The bruschetta was so delicious as an appetizer. A little strong on the garlic (had whole pieces of garlic clove) but was so yummy otherwise.

The ceasar dressing on the salad tasted amazing! Almost like a mix between italian and ceasar. It was creamy.

The pasta trio was so saucy and moist. The lasagna was perfectly cooked and the manicotti is to die for.

We ordered a cannoli to share. The flavors were not too sweet and hit the spot. The shell was much harder then I expected… it was hard to eat/cut into due that.

We just had lunch there, and it was delicious! We had Aperol spritz and bruschetta to start. The food was fantastic! They even had GF pasta for me! The decor and the music was reminiscent of Italy. Our server, Ari was warm but very professional. We will definitely go back! Highly recommend!!

The chicken parm sandwich was a huge disappointment. This was a to-go order. The bread was burnt on the underside, and the chicken seemed like frozen patties or something prepared ahead of time that had been cut up, with very little actually on the sandwich. Most chicken parm sandwiches are made with a full breaded cutlet, not chopped pieces, which made this feel more like reheated chicken than a proper Italian dish. The sauce was bland and lacked any real flavor. This would have been acceptable if it came from a gas station, but at nearly $20 from an Italian restaurant, it completely missed the mark. My wife also mentioned that her shrimp carbonara had an odd taste as well.

Fantastic food and staff. Pleasant environment — service is great, too.

Need to get that whole ‘pickup order’ thing figured out. No one wants to stand in the middle of the dining area waiting 10-15 minutes longer than originally directed, dodging busy waitstaff who are trying to do their job without customers standing in their way (albeit trying not to) – … I have a feeling that there aren’t going to be any tables being removed for a pickup order waiting area until there aren’t ~50 people waiting to be seated (btw, that appeared to be another area that could benefit from the implementation of some kind of system… it was clearly confusing the crap out of people trying to figure out who was next to talk to the host/hostess (which — understandable — you’re gonna wait a LONG time if you don’t get on the list to be seated…)

No shade on the long wait for a table though — I totally get people piling in here although it seems like some benches or outdoor tables or something would help. It’s a good problem to have, but it’s also an opportunity to improve the customer experience. It does

I feel kinda bad mentioning the stuff I don’t really get, because I freaking love this place, and ultimately I have no idea why restaurants do most of the things they do. But — I will say that as awful as restaurants in Owasso tend to be (just regarding filth and awful, unattentive/distracted service and hopeless leads/supervisors), this place is probably the best restaurant in Owasso right now.

My wife and I had been eating at the one in Skiatook for years! We love it!
