The homemade pastas were tasty-fresh with ok meats. The pizza was very disappointing-almost tasted like a frozen pizza with fresh onions. Dough was not fresh, sauce was bland, cheese was weird and salami piccante was not spicy?

Went in there for lunch the other day with my mother and brother who is up visiting from New Zealand. Everything was absolutely fantastic from the appetizers to the main dishes. The papardelle was a crowd favourite and my mother has mentioned that she is absolutely going back again for that dish specifically. Pizza was flavourful and perfectly cooked. Not that I’ve been to Italy, but I have been to the Mediterranean and this food rivals some of the dishes I had out there. Service was extremely friendly and attentive!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had appetizers and pasta, chicken, risotto dishes and they were all incredible.
We did feel rushed by the serving staff which isn’t really cohesive with an Italian dining experience however they were all very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant itself is small and intimate, which is lovely in theory but gets very noisy when everyone is talking. Some noise-dampening tiles on the roof could go a long way.

Very nice to have this local eatery serving some well thought out menu items. Definitely a 3 course night out, flamed baratta cheese, “bougy”, generous portions of classic in house favourites, lobster and shrimp papperdelle for me, then cannoli to finish.
I can afford to go back there as well. $$
