My #1 favorite Italian restaurant.
Chicken parmigiana ala pana is my plate. The pizza portion is big and delicious. All food freshly made for an authentic taste you wont regret. Love coming here for special occasions. The bread they serve when waiting is so soft and delicious.

The garlic knots is an appetizer is very welcomed! It was hot and fresh and delicious.. a side of Alfredo sauce to dip in is more like a giant bowl of sauce but also nine dollars. The pizza was very hearty and was way more than two people could eat. Very fresh ingredients. Service was fantastic. Atmosphere was very quiet. Didn’t know this place was even here! Happy to go back soon.

Wife and I love this place especially since they have gluten free pasta options for their cuisine fair. Grape flavor and I’m not even a pasta guy! But they have some awesome seafood pasta, I can’t think of the name of it. But I will say that there’s sauces are incredible everything from the marinara to the garlic wine white sauce just flavorful and delicious. This is definitely a place my wife and I enjoy to go together as a treat and also as a celebratory type of night out. Prices are budget-friendly and we’ve never been disappointed. I have had everything from the pizza, calzones, tortellinis, just all kinds of different dishes, and everyone amazing.

The food is great! I went in to pick up my order and the owner asked if I smoked, I shamingly said yes. He said “you smell”! Very blunt but I respect the honesty! That made me wanna quit so hey!

Prior to moving to the area, my family and I would visit the Rockwall location. We were familiar with the owner from that location from before Luigi’s. I am always hesitant to try new (to us ) Italian restaurants. Being of Italian (Sicilian actually) heritage, I am very judgmental when it comes to Italian food. But we decided to give it a go. We have only actually dined in one time. Which is the only time we ever will again. If that tells you anything. But we have ordered to go a handful of times. Every single time we have had some sort of problem. But since actual semi decent Italian restaurants are no where near here, you take what you can get. This time my wife and I wanted to try something new from the restaurant. We got two different dishes to share. The first was the chicken damabianka. It said it was made with fresh mushrooms. I don’t believe that. Tasted very much of cannned. And they dumped an entire large can of them. With as many mushrooms they put in it, the taste made it seem like a mushroom dish, not a chicken dish. And they served it with spaghetti instead of fettuccine. Which was weird to me. And they broke the spaghetti into small pieces with is just blasphemy.
We also tried the chicken arrabiatta. It was made with “fresh” mushrooms (see above ) and cherry peppers. Which also seemed to have jalapeños as well. But it made the entire dish so spicy that it just killed the taste of everything else. Our seven year old had a couple slices. Hard to mess that up. He liked so that’s what matters. And don’t get me started on the owner. Will have to think very hard of another visit.

Ordered delivery from this establishment, (through the slice app) at about 6p, 7:30p rolls around no pizza. Call Luigis to see what the deal is, Vinny(the owner) answers the phone and proceeds to be a huge unhelpful jerk, and hang up the phone on me. Call back, get a nice gal who apologizes and gives me the steps to cancel. I hope he treats his employees better than his customers… won’t ever be back.

Unbelievably delicious! The vodka sauce is the best and most unforgettable that I have ever had. The pizza is like my Italian grandmother kissed me from her resting place. The crust is light, airy, crispy PERFECTION! Cheese sticks OMG!!!!!! So perfect. Don’t go anywhere I will be back soon. Lol

The food was okay but not particularly memorable. While the portions were generous, the flavors didn’t quite live up to expectations for classic Italian cuisine. Service was friendly, but overall, I was hoping for something a bit more impressive. A decent option if you’re nearby, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.

Our first time visiting was yesterday. Overall, the experience was decent. Not super good and not necessarily bad.
The bread was amazing.
The service was decent.
I ordered the Shrimp Alvaro. The pasta was cooked well, and the shrimp was good. But the sauce was pretty thin. I couldn’t taste it on the pasta without first dipping the forkful of pasta into the accumulated runny sauce on the side with every bite.
My husband got the lasagna. It was ok.
The thing that bothered me the most was that there was no soap In the bathroom at all. No soap dispenser, no half empty bottle, nothing. That freaked me out because I didn’t notice until after I had eaten.
Did they wash their hands before making our food? Are their hands clean?
Left a bad taste in my mouth, and we probably won’t be back.
