Perfect solution to the dilemma of midday hunger for great sandwich in a short period of time at good value-for-the-money pricing. Added bonus of friendly staff adds to the type of small-business / neighborhood charm that makes you want to root for this team and business. Let’s get into the plusses:
– extensive menu of Italian deli sandwiches and other (soup, pasta)
– fresh ingredients. I’m always happy when I see prosciutto and arugula offered
– sizes / portions are crazy generous. I ordered a “half” size sandwich for $12 and could only finish half of this “half”, while I was hungry. This would be perfect for a teenager with unlimited metabolic burn and constant hunger issues
– price is great. Ratio of [Quality & volume] : [ $cost ] is close to infinite
– Wait time was nothing. This is classic order and takeaway (or sit at 1 of 3 side tables if you need to scarf down on premises)
What it’s not:
– white table cloth / fancy; this is just straight up real stuff w/o creating any extra decoration to inflate the price charged to the customer
Overall, glad for the neighborhood to have this business, wish I lived closer. But will remember for the future when passing thru and in need of a quick fix from friendly staff.

You tired of those Kings subs down the street where they give you more lettuce than they give you meat? I was too. Tried this place in a whim while traveling through Martinsville.
