Luga delivers an absolutely delightful Italian dining experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, the warm ambiance sets the tone — cozy lighting, tasteful décor, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while.
The food is truly the star here. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavors that stand out. From the perfectly cooked pastas to the richly seasoned entrées, everything tastes crafted with care. Even the simplest dishes have that homemade quality that brings comfort and satisfaction.
The service is just as impressive. The staff is attentive without ever being intrusive, quick to offer suggestions, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they care about their guests’ experience, which adds a personal touch to the meal.
Overall, Luga is a wonderful place to enjoy Italian cuisine — delicious food, warm service, and a charming ambiance all come together beautifully. Highly recommended! ✨

We had an amazing experience at Luga Italian Eatery. The food was absolutely incredible thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The portions were also very generous, which made the experience even better. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews, but I suppose that comes with the territory when people are more accustomed to fast food and overly greasy, flavorless meals. If you appreciate quality ingredients and authentic Italian flavors, this place is a gem. Every dish was worth every penny, and the mocktails were delicious and beautifully crafted as well. Highly recommend dining here we’ll definitely be back!

We were actually visiting from Toronto and were in Atlanta catching up with friends, so we decided to try this place. We were looking for authentic Italian food, and this absolutely delivered. You can actually taste the ingredients—not just Parmesan covering everything.

My favorites were the arancini, the mushroom risotto, and the slow-cooked tenderloin… all incredible. We also loved the atmosphere, the music, and the drinks. Our server was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even better.

Hopefully we’ll be back soon

This place honestly makes me feel like home. The energy is incredible and the atmosphere is amazing, warm, modern, and full of good vibes. The moment I walked in, I felt comfortable.
I finally found a spot where I can taste real, authentic flavor — not overloaded with artificial ingredients or heavy seasoning. You can tell everything is made from scratch, and it brings true Italian character to the area.
The cocktails are on a whole different level. I tried a few different flavors and every single one was crafted perfectly balanced, fresh, and unique.
And I can’t wait for spring to enjoy that beautiful patio.
This is officially my new spot. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and an amazing place!! Oh my god — thank you!
I truly don’t understand these negative comments about birthdays and where people were seated. That has nothing to do with the actual quality and beauty of this restaurant. It’s an upscale Italian spot, and as someone who has lived in East Cobb for years, I’m thrilled to finally have a place that feels like Buckhead or Midtown right here in our neighborhood. Hellooo, this is a win!
The food was delicious — we ordered the meatballs, salad, pasta, and the slow-cooked tenderloin, and everything was incredible. And the service? Wonderful. Everyone was kind, and the bartender made special cocktails that my husband and I are still talking about.
Come on people… do better. This restaurant deserves the praise!

We absolutely loved Luga ❤️ The music and the whole vibe were amazing from the moment we walked in. We’re visiting friends from London, and honestly, we didn’t expect to find Italian food this good.

Everything we tried was full of flavor and made with so much care. The tortello alla Genovese was unforgettable, the tuna tartare was fresh and delicious, and the cheesecake was rich and perfect. We felt so welcomed, and the whole experience just felt special.

Can’t wait to come back again!

We had mixed feelings about Luga Italian. I understand and appreciate the authenticity—ordering multiple courses like you would in Italy—but the pricing is nowhere near Italy’s, and that model doesn’t really translate well in the U.S. For context, we ordered two pastas, no appetizer, two cocktails each, split one entrée, and shared one dessert, and the total was around $200.

The cocktails were very good, and the cacio e pepe tasted authentic. The salmon was cooked well, but portions overall were small for the price. The tortello pasta had a unique flavor, though it wasn’t a favorite for our table. Dessert was a chocolate cake that came out overcooked. The atmosphere was very loud, and our server felt a bit awkward.

Great atmosphere and vibe! We ordered the arugula and pear salad to share. It was extremely salty so we asked for another one. Much better. Our entrees were good. Nice presentation yet the food was barely warm. We didn’t want to be terribly negative so we didn’t complain to the staff. Also pricey for the portions. I doubt we return.

My girlfriends and I had a great lunch today and Jani (not sure how to spell her full name) was a total gem! She was so sweet and made us feel right at home. She’s going far in life!!

Please add your gluten free options to your website! I had no idea you had so many options.

The octopus potato salad thing was soooo good! Way better than it sounds. And the Coffee, Please drink… to die for!

Thank you, Jani!

Opening night magic and a family stamp of approval? Say less. We were a party of 9 (5 adults, 4 kids), and from start to finish, Luga Italian Eatery handled us with patience and grace.

My dad uses a wheelchair, and they were incredibly accommodating, making space, offering help, and never making us feel like an “extra step” in their evening. Even when half our crew ran 30 minutes late (on opening night no less), they didn’t miss a beat. That level of care says a lot about a place.

Yes, the restaurant got busy later and you could tell they were a bit short-staffed, but honestly? We expected that. They’re brand new, still learning the rhythm, still tuning the violins. And we totally got it. What mattered most, the food, was outstanding. Every bite felt like a love letter written in sauce and handmade dough.

The decor is simply beautiful… elegant, warm, and inviting. The staff was consistently kind and helpful, especially considering it was their big debut night. We could feel their effort, their honesty, their heart. They’re adjusting, growing, and if this is the starting line? Wow. The finish will be delicious.

We left smiling, grateful, already planning our return. Can’t wait to go back and watch this gem shine even brighter. ✨
